Oh I see. You didn't watched season 1. All I can promise is: it's top writing. Really the very top. But I can't promise you like it. It's very brainy. You go in a story you think on the pitch is the fluffy fantasy drama, like "my demon", but you find out it's striking with powerful thematics, a hell pace, mind-blowing plot-twists, with a harsh logic. And from experience, I know many people watching this had difficulty.

Well, to put that in the balance. There are obvious point that make me say YES, anyone could write that better. Then in the corner of my mind, I don't forget this writer spent years as assistant, and it's her first drama (alone). I could see there was a plan for the whole (what's very ok), so foreshadowing, some good scene transitions. I mean some screenplay techniques that anyone couldn't do.
But it sucks so much about the meat of the piece. Like if "Oh, I'm paid for each episode, you bought the pitch, so I'll do it a 16 episodes drama, even when I have nothing more to tell, but I get the money". Ending with a drama full of fillers, worst of what screenwriter could do, useless secondary characters with their own standalone cringe scenes, and etc, etc.

The scary "demon" here is more the pet of the FL, with shining watery puppy eyes, and costumes from 50's american lady (it's not from me, a smart user here gave this line, I was lol looooolll looll SO THAT).
At max, they show him in a black suit, very "twilight the movie" like, with a fake dark gaze "look how bad I am". Here, I accuse the director, unable to work the image into something more raw. Because anyway, you can put any actor in a scene, and if the director does well, with light, angle of shoot and contrast, the character looks scary.
Watching my demon consists of 630 ( six hundred and thirty) minutes of my life that I will never get back !
Yeah, you suffered a lot. But know what? For fans of the drama you didn't suffer enough. And now you should shut-up, go elsewhere, or suffer even more from their harassement.

Your acid bottle example is excellent! See what the writer did here: not a second she goes into the shoes of the characters. She makes act the FL like the writer would act, because the writer already know he's a demon. To compare to: Marry My Husband, end of ep 6 reveal scene.
It's a cheesy action scene to please the fans, and why not, it has a nice little "wow" effect. But when the details don't match, it just kill the story. About the lines, there are a lot a catch sentences during the whole drama. On this thread, for fun, I improvised some to show many aren't so difficult to find.
About "I'm a demon.... y'all call me the devil." He could as well go into "I'm demon.... devil demon". James Bond like.

People now think all is relative and subjective. Nope, I don't agree with that. It's not a question of opinion. There are objective reasons why this script is so bad. I even made a list of that. I mean, as I'm watching something bad, as well to not waste totally my time and take instructive notes useful for writing.
I only watched this for Kim Yoo Jung BUT DAMN GIRL YOU NEED TO CHOOSE BETTER DRAMAS
Yeah, I'm fed-up she chose so many rom-com, always same kind of light role. I don't see how she can evolve as actress with that. Actors enough lucky get one day "the role of their life", and it's not done yet for her.
Crazy fan at it again they are again creating burner and rating it 10 and calling it masterpiece.

I think about the forced ending she wanted, and for building up that, she uses:
A huge plot-hole, a insufferable non-sens cliché, another inconsistency, and finally a deus ex-machina. Making characters acting stupid and out of logic. And this writer want to make us swallow that? I take that as an insult to intelligence.
