This is one of the better transmigration dramas. They get straight to the point and the leads have great chemistry. I love their scenes together. It definitely deserves a better rating.
This drama deserves a much better rating. Is it over the top makjang? Yes, absolutely but in the best way. The writer is infamous for having just as dramatic of a real life. So it makes sense why her dramas are so crazy. If you do not like daily, soap opera like dramas. You probably will not like this. I grew up on American soap operas and the pacing and extreme story lines are very similar. I believe this is Sung Hoon's acting debut and he is super hot. His character is a total red flag and his behavior in the first half is abhorrent. However, I guess that makes his redemption arc that much more satisfying. I cried multiple times watching this. I also am satisfied with the ending. I am also not an Im Soo Hyang hater and really loved her character in this drama. She was an elegant, soft spoken character, but she was also intelligent, resilient and kind. I love those qualities in a female lead. This was my first South Korean drama and will always hold a special place in my heart.
But let's not forget that zhang zhe was her only one she loves in her past life and she struggles between her…
I don't think she really loved him in her past life. She felt indebted to him because he gave his life to save her. He was really the only innocent person out of the three that she screwed over in her past life. It was more pity and guilt than love.
I wonder how she gets so much work in big productions. She looks so mid with bangs, better without them but her…
That is your opinion. I think she is super talented. She is a triple threat, she sings, acts and dances. She has worked really hard to become successful. I'm sure her families wealth helped her get her foot in the door but it is her talent that has made her a megastar. She also has amazing chemistry with all of her leads. Some actresses are just about their visuals and come off really stiff. She really seems natural in her roles. I can understand her not being to your liking but you shouldn't downplay her accomplishments. She is beloved by many, including the people she works with.
It's crazy how people like to question Shuxin's talent and feel comfortable complaining about her voice, when…
The baby voice is a common device used in Chinese dramas. For example in LBFD and AOL the FL's voice matures as she does. It is also used when FL's play different "characters" in a srama. I don't understand people watching these types of dramas and then complaining about it. If it is not your cup of tea, try watching a different drama ffs. I don't mind it and Esther is not the only actress that uses that character development device. I find it charming.
This drama exceeded my expectations. It deserves a much higher rating. The leads break the mold and are really "human" in their decisions. Especially the female lead. She is neither good nor bad and you are never really sure what she is thinking. Her growth in the drama is really refreshing. This was better than many star studded big budget dramas. There is also some thought provoking themes in this drama. I hope the team behind this drama is allowed to create more gems like this. I highly recommend it. I see the leads are starring in another drama together. I look forward to seeing them again. Their chemistry was on point. Please don't miss out on this one.
