You sounded like you were disappointed that Eunseom’s character didn’t felt as pure. Years of war hardened him so it makes sense that he became more cunning like Saya/Tagon. He has to, he’s leading an army, he’s up against Arthdal kingdom. That being said, he cared about people of Wahan till the end. It’ll simply be unconvincing for that naive and ‘pure’ Euseom to still exist. He’ll incompetent for the throne.
I enjoyed this season too but change of cast made me feel different about the characters as well. Eunsom's character…
Even without the cast change I doubt Eunseom will remain ‘pure’. It makes sense that he has matured after so many hardships. He has seen death of his loved ones, been betrayed by ones he vowed to save. Also there was a time skip. He united Ago tribe and was waging war with freaking Arthdal king! It’ll be frustrating to see his character still being ‘pure’ or just like we saw in s1. He will be crushed. Lee Joon Ki did a phenomenal job. Tanya was hardly there throughout the series? Which is a shame because I loved her in last few episodes.
Without TaGon S3 will be a disaster. Tagon is the life of the story. And the last war pretty much disappointed…
Tagon and Taealha were my favourite characters but this show has so much more to offer. The characters were good but so was the world building. So I doubt the series will crumble without our favourite characters.
Truly enjoyed each and every episode. I can’t believe I’m finally saying this, it didn’t get the recognition it deserved! I normally don’t care about ratings but it’ll be such a shame to end this series because of it. After s1 I had given up hope on fantasy kdramas until Alchemy of Souls. Didn’t expect much from s2 after s1 and cast change but decided to give it a try because of LJK. It exceed all my expectations! AoS and AC have proved me wrong. I liked the pacing and action scenes of this season. The women of this series gave me chills even though they had little screen time. There are so many unexplored aspects of AC universe which has so much potential. I don’t want the series to end here 🥲
I do not like this narrative in the comments where people are trying to paint Tanya as evil and victimize people…
You’re right on the money about Saya and Tanya. However just because they are the good guys doesn’t mean their characters are interesting. Taealha and Tagon are evil no doubt but their character are interesting imo. They are ruthless yet smart, cunning, strong and always manage to survive under any circumstances. I enjoy watching them. I really loved Tanya in ep 11. I wish her character had more scenes.
Just when I thought Suzy can’t get any more prettier than she already was in previous dramas! She looks drop dead gorgeous in the pictures. Is the drama any good though?
I don't think so. But who knows right? Personally I think that arthdal universe is too precious to let go just…
I love the idea of prequel on the history of Sarams and Neanthal. I doubt they’ll make another season though. Arthdal universe has so much potential. Even though I didn’t like how s1 story progressed, I’m a fan of the whole Arthdal concept. That’s why I’ve been following this drama.
I’m somewhere on ep2 can anyone tell me why the cop didn’t tell her he has found her family? I skipped through some parts because it was frustrating to watch.
If Tagon dies, I will cry a river. If Eunseom dies, I won't even shed a tear. I blame Tagon's actor for being…
Same. Tagon and taelha were the reason why I was able to get through s1! S1 had potential but it was a complete snooze fest. I came to like and root for Eunseom’s character in s2. Tanya wasn’t memorable in s1 and even less in s2. Saya, I never liked his character. I won’t be mad if Tagon/Taelha wins in the end.
