Ngl the potrayal of Arab prince in the beginning was really cringe. I understand why Arab people will find it off putting but not to this extend. Let’s be honest people are just overreacting at this point. You’re free to dislike the drama and rate it 1/10 on every site. Crying in the comments and exaggerating the whole situation is where you lose empathy from everyone.
Not defending the drama but just stating facts. Nowhere in the drama did they mention all Arabs are like that. Anyone with a functional brain won’t come to that conclusion. They focused on the friendship and the duo fighting over Sarang. I think there many other issues you should be worrying about other than misrepresentation in a silly kdrama.

That’s an unfair comparison. It will be annoying if there was romance in that kind of genre. Revenant is plot driven, KTL is all about romance. I’m hooked with the plot and I’m enjoying the horror element of Revenant. It’s very similar to dramas like Hand: The guest which I also enjoyed. Personally, I’m enjoying KTL more than Revenant. Presently Kdrama world is saturated with makjang, thriller, supernatural, crime and other dark themes. KTL is refreshing to watch. It reminds me of old kdrama romcoms.

I couldn’t care less whether people like this drama or not. The drama is giving exactly what it promised, a no brainer silly light hearted romcom. People are disappointed because it’s exactly that. I honestly don’t understand the criticism but to each their own. I don’t want to waste my time convincing people to understand or like something I like. However, there are some people tuning in every week, spamming the CS and complaining about the same thing again and again. It’s really annoying for people who are actually enjoying the drama. That’s just plain hate and not criticism. Since this is a public space these people have the right to do whatever they want to. Others also have the right to respond to them however they want to.

Completely agree with you. Wwwsk and BP are similar. I can’t seem to get myself to like the latter. What made me like wwwsk was the chemistry between the main leads. Their acting was the highlight of the drama. Meanwhile in BP the characters felt bland and pretentious. The only thing that kept me going in BP were the second lead couple

We should give more time for the romance to develop. I don’t think it’s the lack of acting skills or chemistry from both the actors. ML still hasn’t recovered from the loss yet and FL is the only one chasing him for now.
