From the video game vibe in this drama he will use potions, artifacts and he will be able to level up using these. Of course he will have to go within as well in meditation. The more experience the player has this also helps to level them up. In video games they have a mode called PK or player kill mode where you can fight other players and gain their items. You can fight bosses, which they just did, It's normal in a raid situation in a game to loose half of your players. It's a player eat player world out there. Most of all it is a fantasy and they can do what they want to achieve their goal. Hopefully he doesn't turn evil. Peace♥

He didn't want to go at this time. They are closing it down after this time for 60 yrs. If he doesn't go and get some herbs that he needs for cultivation he will have to wait. ML is well aware he is not high enough level. He is in hiding and avoiding mode. Using all his skill just to survive and get his herbs.

He is keeping himself low key to avoid conflict. If you notice everyone he killed was totally surprised. He must have a good amount of artifacts by now to help him survive. Just like playing a video game. You kill, you loot and hopefully get some good artifacts.

It's all the sound technicians fault. Inconsistent sound. When they do post production they are supposed to even it all out so it sounds normal and natural. They sometimes have inconsistency with locations, day and night scenes. Just part of the joy of watching C-Dramas. ♥

If you mean the voices. I don't think so. After dubbing. Maybe for the studio portions there could be live recorded actors. Hard to say.
