I'm here because I love meeting others who love the same shows to discuss it and enjoy experience. I love chinese culture, recipes and entertainment.
I've never been to China, but i would love to visit, to try learning chinese cuisine, tai chi, travel, see Great Wall of China, Shanghai,  Chingqing, and many other places.

I'm from Europe🇨🇭. Watching only C drama! One reason is because I'm learning Chinese 🇨🇳.  I'm not watching J or K Drama, because then its harder for me to learn and I start mixing languages. I'm not watching shows bellow 7.9 rating on My Drama 💁🏻‍♀️

Uodate 22nd July 2026 - I watch K drama now too :) my first one was Flower of Evil, and it was followed by The Glory and Healer. So ofcourse it opened entire new world for me. Now I can differentiate Korean and Chinese language, and can understand enough to order tea or soju haha :)

• C drama with badass, super powerful ML like the one in The Double, Love Like the Galaxy, or Love Between Fairy and Devil. But also with super smart FL like The Double or Are You the One. And something with intriguing layered villain like Shen Yurong in The Double.

• Or something super entertaining with good humour Like Guardians of the Dafeng or Love Between Fairy and Devil

• Or thriller, suspenseful - Like Flower of Evil

What I avoid

• Too much make up - Casket white make up, or colourful eyeliner (pretty much all xianxia)

• Cheesy, pitiful romance - self righteous FL who abandons ML because she is a bigger person for some reason,  ML who is kissing a corpse of FL to prove he loves her and so on; 

• Draggy plot - when within one show you have amnesia, main couple fights over and over again, falling of the cliff then surviving, snake bite, spoon feeding one another, 

• Elements of horor - I don't find it entertaining, but boring. Suspense and mistery is ok

• Bad CGI - even some really good dramas have it, it is ridiculous sometimes. cough cough ...The Wolf
