Bai Jiu's ending is gonna kill me I feel it. I'm slowly falling for this kid like he's my own child but I just know this director is gonna kill his character off to get those tears rolling down my face... why is Bai Jiu so cute. I totally get Ying Lei being jealous with Yi Chen in trying to get Bai Jiu's attention, they all treat Bai Jiu like their own little brother (especially the three, Yi Chen, Si Jing, and Ying Lei)
Omg that's amazing! May I know how this show is doing in Thailand? Like on social media and stuff
A lot of praises for the actors and cinematography. You can imagine that this series airs at the same time with My Cherie Amour (a romantic comedy on CH3 starring top stars Yaya Urassaya and Tor Thanapob) and it has higher TV ratings. In terms of trending on Twitter, it's not doing as well as My Cherie Amour but that may be because it's viewership demographic isn't the same one that uses Twitter so often. I think it's one of the biggest if not THE biggest historical epic period Thai series this year
The highest rating debut for a pilot/first episode in the history of One31 channel creation (since 2011). Congrats to The Empress of Ayodhaya for getting off to a great start 🥳
It's produced by Ping and directed by two new directors. Produced by Tada Entertainment subsidiary 5x6 House (where basically all the creatives at Nadao Bangkok went to after Nadao Bangkok dissolved). Taste is said to share the same concept with Hormones in terms of intense, realistic and controversial portrayal of Thai Gen Z teens
Wichai is so Darcy-coded it's killing me. I can't believe we only got 2 full eps of Anong rejecting Wichai before we're jumping right back to her confessing it outright because of course Wichai isn't gonna be the one making initiative in this relationship but that's okay for Anong because Anong doesn't care. Usually misunderstandings is so annoying in romance dramas but for some reason it's really working for me. I like the angst and the tension between Wichai and Anong whenever they have these confrontations. Wichai makes me think of that quote in The Perks of Being A Wallflower "We accept the love we think we deserve". And Wichai really doesn't feel like he deserve something as good as Anong even though he's literally the most perfect, can-do-no-wrong man in this world. His noble idiocy is killing me ffrrrrrr
came into this with little expectations and it's become my favorite romcom of 2024. it's a perfect execution of friends to lovers trope and doesn't shy away from comedic moments. tbh its more comedy than romance but that's also okay because it's a low stake watch where the drama wasn't that angsty nor climatic. i love all the couples but the leads were really outstanding because their friends to lovers portrayal is just so natural. one of my favorite moments was when tangyang asked why did shiyan knock when he alr know the passcode and he explained that since they're bf/gf he needs to respect her space. small moments like that or when shiyan told weiran that tangyang is an independent woman who can make decisions for herself >>>>>> the level of respect and trust they have for each other. excellent, elegant, poignant, chef kiss perfect best friends to lovers writing
I think he's just lowkey about it since it's not a GMMTV project. There's probably not much of an audience looking to hear about Bright/Mild romcom as well. But during the filming he posts Bright on filming set a lot so I'm sure they had a great time filming https://www.instagram.com/p/C-X_SlTT8He/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
no fuck the writers. whoever is considering watching this lakorn, i suggest you RUN
why the fuck did chin get killed off so mana/tawan can live their happily ever after together. and more so, why the fuck would he be doing at her wedding in heaven. the actual fuck
i love that wichai is gonna be torn between anong and chan. chanthorn greatly resembles his past wife where as anong is just a breath of fresh air that can make his heart flutters. so seated for wherever this goes. i think it's the first time we're getting a love triangle but im not annoyed at all because tor really can have chemistry with all his female leads and wichai remains respectful with all of them
their dynamic is soooo goood. i thought it'd go to typical route of ML being in love with FL all this time but i appreciate it being more like they've brozoned themselves into their current relationship so they're taking baby steps towards developing romantic feelings by observing each other's changes. i really hope they don't get together too soon, that always mean trouble in later eps
Question ❓1.Love triangle?2. Fl Already boyfriend/ Any ex boyfriend? 3. How the chemistry between Main lead…
only 6 eps so far but 1. no love triangles so far, just FL being set up to go on blind dates that she doesn't want to and ML helps her escape those. her senior colleague has interest in her but she doesn't seem to reciprocate at all 2. FL had one ex bf in the past, not shown just mentioned in conversations between FL and ML 3. the chemistry is very good. the highlights are comedic/light hearted moments between the two leads because their conversations are natural, most likely because the lead actors are real childhood friends so the acting feels seamless and effortlessly natural
