Can someone explain to me something. When I was watching episode 5 Chanel's mother in relation to Chanels weight…
I think the english sub is a bit inaccurate, more like her mom said it more like "she's still young, their metabolism is still good" they translated like that in my language (vietnamese) too so i dont know why the english sub was different
It's such a gorgeous and colorful series. It's predictable but I like how they didn't drag anything out and revelations are relatively quick. It was a tight 6 episode series with decent pacing. I like that there's a balance between light hearted sillyness/quirkiness and the gloomy subplot
i finished the novel last year within 24 hours and i can vouch for this comment above. professional body double…
well if they cut out the dog blood drama then I don't think there's much left story to tell. from the picture stills being released so far i haven't really seen any pictures where MC is sweet with ML, always pictures of angry/sad/mad frustrated Joe/Zhouxiang 😂 So I'm sure we're in for a lot of angst and a longggg redemption arc for ML.
y’all be ready for tears and toxicity. I can’t wait to see everyone crying lol the tears I have spent on this…
i finished the novel last year within 24 hours and i can vouch for this comment above. professional body double got me out of a reading slump i was having and even though i was hating ML like crazy, i think it was an addictive read and you just had to keep going because i felt compelled to see how MC got his happy ending.
it's gonna be interesting to see how far they're willing to go with the adaptation but the directors are from kinnporsche the series so i trust they won't hold to back on delivering all the angsty and dogblood drama of the source material
Right??! It's just the perfect cute noona romance with a touch of fantasy. Nothing forced or cringe!
right! sometimes i usually see noona romances there's this tendency to make younger ML kinda pushy and aggressive, usually in juxtaposition against an older SML pursuing FL (i'm looking at you Find Yourself 🤨) but i like that so far it's not the case in this series. ML is obviously interested, kinda flirty with FL but lowkey. FL does recognize that but she doesn't rebuke his affections. I think it's also refreshing because it feels like ML is more like the protagonist and we're watching his journey of falling for/pursuing FL rather than from the perspective of FL like conventional romcoms so it's super fun for me
im so picky with noona romances and not even my top fave actors could get me to watch one but this one... the color grading the lil surrealism fantasy element makes this one soooo interesting to watch. it reminds me of nadao's my ambulance. hopefully this one continues its pace.
I hope this helps a little bit. There's a little bit of difference between the novel and how the series endedNovel:…
Oh fren I come here every day like it's a routine now. I feel a sense of duty to let all non-readers know how good of a story IFYLITA is and how DeeHup already kinda did their best with the source material even though the ending may seem convoluted ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ I can't get over IFYLITA
Poor you for being a whiny lil child. Ohm portrayed his character the best. And no we don’t all hate Shin, jjjust…
I completely agreed Ohm played his character well. Hating a character for their actions does not equate with hating on the actor. This lies completely with the screenwriters. I don't need to love a character to praise that the actor has done an excellent job playing them. No need to be aggressive and twist my comment into anything negative where there was no intention in the first place
Poom Phuripan absolutely stole the show and gave me the worst case of 2nd male lead syndrome in 2023 with only…
the author liked a tweet i made about how i think the screenwriters are totally biased because why on earth is Chef Guy the most well written character and that they definitely like Guy more than Shin so honestly everyone liking chef Guy is so valid here 🤣 the writers DEFINITELY succeeded if the intention is to make me completely head over heels for Poom Phuripan ðŸ˜
Poom Phuripan absolutely stole the show and gave me the worst case of 2nd male lead syndrome in 2023 with only 6 episodes and minimal screen time 😠I'm so sad to say goodbye to the cutest bakery. This is really what I wished Baker Boys gave me. I know we all hated Shin at certain points for his actions but I really really love the friendship of the bakers in our sweet Temptation bakery 🥺
I wish more is explained on the ending on the present-day Yai, without reading the comments here I was equally…
It is not elaborated on in the book either. I personally have learned not to torture myself over the logistics of time travel within these kind of series haha. But to answer your question, actually in fact, present-day Yai only get like 4 last chapters in the book. From what we can deduce, present-day Yai Kanthorn only started getting the past memories once Jom was transported back to 1927 (the beginning of past Yai/Jom relationship). This post below elaborated a bit on the theme of reincarnation regarding all the Yais.
I watched As Long As We Both Shall Live after Trillion Game and they really wowed me. The range Ren and Mio have…
Mio really looks soooo different. I think the biggest similarity between Miyo and Princess Kiri are moments when Kiri smiles very sweetly and bright, kinda child-like innocence in her eyes, very similar to Miyo pure innocence. But characteristic-wise they're so different. Imada Mio is such a great actress.
okay, while I did love the series, I absolutely didn't get the ending. theories, anyone? Cause I am sure as hell…
I hope this helps a little bit. There's a little bit of difference between the novel and how the series ended
Novel: Jom go from 2023 to 1927 - after that he doesn't get transported to the present but goes even back further in time to 1700 (tanned skin khun yai) - returning home to 2023 (meet yai's reincarnation 'kanthorn') + there is special au chapter unrelated/not connected to the og story that the author wrote about 1927 khun yai accidentally time travelling to the present (not in official translations, only available in thai on some platforms posted by the author violet rain, i only read unofficial fan translation of this chapter)
Series: jom 2023 -> 1927 yai -> 2023 meet kanthorn -> go back to 1700 (maybe if we get season 2 -> we'll get jom in 1700 -> 2023). The modern Yai you see is Yai Kanthorn (Khun Lek (Khun Yai's little brother)'s grand son) if u ignore after credit scene, it can just simply ends at jom meeting Yai Kanthorn who has memories of 1927 yai and jom. + special episode based on special chapter mentioned above, the special episode happens in between jom returning home and jom meeting the 2023 reincarnation of yai, when he woke up crying in the middle of the night, that's jom waking up from his dream of 1927 khun yai travelling to the present (the premise of the special ep)
Feel free to ask if you have any questions or if it's not clear.

I watched As Long As We Both Shall Live after Trillion Game and they really wowed me. The range Ren and Mio have as actors and to display very drastic characters was just brilliant. Having no prior knowledge about the anime/light novel, I was a bit underwhelmed by how little "romantic" scenes Miyo and Kudo have together but Ren and Mio totally killed it still. I too hope we can have sequels to either ALAWBSL or TG. I definitely think people who were able to watch soft/pure Ren/Mio in ALAWBSL before seeing them in TG are luckier though, I think the whiplash would have been much crazier to see them go from soft babies in love to hot bussiness rivals wanting to bang each other the whole time. No skinship for both series/film but their chemistry is UNMATCHED.
