Nope. The book from where this drama is adapted came before DOS and aside from doctor & police characters and earthquake mentioned in summary... the story are different. Give it a try. This is a cdrama gem :)
They definitely will change it to korean one. I just hope it will give different vibe but the same emotion idk…
Kdrama always produce a memorable OST so I really have a high expectation for this remake's OST. I am praying that they will select a song that will have a nostalgic happy feeling that makes you raise your hand and sing a long (even u don't know the lyrics) as Last Dance...
haven't watch the Kairos so i idk their similarities but the story really keeps me on my toes. binge watch 6 episodes and omg... the plot switching is really interesting. Great acting and action sequence... this deserves more audience. Kudo
*sigh* for me the ending is uncalled for. Twist? Shock factor? Portrayal of real life? nah... All I know is that YXG didn't even got his deserve happy life and XHT continued to mourn him after many years. In a community that hoping for deserve happy ending I am so disappointed. And what's up with the doppelgänger... *sigh* Well the title says it all, should have seen it coming :)
(dont eye-roll) is this happy ending? In this pandemic I easily get depressed, I really don't mind watching angtsy, sad film as long as I will have happy ending or peace of mind at the end :). Thanks!
If you want to see Moon Jae Shin have his "should" be deserved ending... try watching In a Class of Her Own (Chinese adaptation). But if you wanna try, please leave your prejudice and just enjoy the cuteness. After 10 years my heart is well knowing that in Chinese world Moon Jae Shin got his revenge and happiness :)
I'm a fan of original, so I hesitate to watch this knowing that there's some tragedy at the end... but I am so happy, although there are scenes that I am not satisfied with, this Lei Ze Xin ending is what he deserves... the closure and peace that he's fighting for did not go to waste. Thank you!
I’m watching Train and Flower of Evil too, and The Good Detective can have some nice comedic breaks since those…
I started it... and damn, Im crushing Jang Seung Jo so bad :). His chemistry with Son HyunJoo and of course with Elijah, is really good. Im glad I rode this train.

I'm also watching Train and FoE, so should I start this? haha I'm worried if I watch too much intense drama, but if this is lighter than the two... i'll give it a go
Maybe because there was a plot twist in episode 12-mid which many people didn't like. Many continued till end…
I agree, if you overlook that mom thing... the whole story is one great healing session. I am happy that despite watching a tragic story instead of making me really depress it makes me hopeful, light and always looking forward for the next scene. The message of self worth, acceptance of differences, tolerance of shortcomings is not overly dramatic but humbly portray. Tho the theme is heavy I really commend how they put the comedy, the animation, and OST at the perfect moment.
But then again, this tea may not be for everyone :)
