The first time I watched this drama, I was 8 years old, I hadn’t finished because the channel that aired it had stopped broadcasting, but at least I remembered the title. I don’t know why I dragged so much to look at him again. I think I was too attached to the nostalgia of the first k-drama that I had to watch in my life. This year I decided to take the plunge and how can I say that watching it as an adult completely changes.
-Jin Hun’s character is a red flag, whether it’s the slap given to Hee Jin or his possessiveness mixed with ego towards Sam Soon.
-I liked Sam Soon a lot except his repeated violence, hitting people again and again.
*Repetition at its weight even being in a relationship was also not necessary, it wasn’t even big. -The couple of Sam Soon’s sister and the boss was not necessary, we could do without them, they were a very big red flag, I didn’t even understand why she agreed to sleep with him. -I won’t know what to say about the characters of Heejin and Henry. -Mijoo is cute. -And also the sexual assault on the pastry assistant at Jin Hun’s restaurant was not necessary, it is not love. K-drama was really problematic but not only K-drama, all the series or even American films in those years really had some problems.
*I admit to being disappointed to have looked at it again, I would have liked it to remain nostalgia, but on the one hand, it was still fun to watch it when you were tall, understand the subtleties, cringe but laugh anyway. I don’t note it out of pure nostalgia, I can’t give a note for fear that it hurts me, 25 years old, and 8 years old.

I had no desire to watch it since it’s a harem drama but I thought why not and I launched the first episode and since then I’ve been watching episodes, it’s captivating I didn’t expect it. In episode 6, I am addicted. Recently I rewatched season 1 that I had already watched in 2024 and I still love the scenery, the pacing, the visuals, the cinematography and even the story; it can be slow but I like them a lot and the ost too. I’ve seen quite a few criticisms of make-up but I think it’s good, there’s no scandal to be made about it. Now the problem is that I want it to be prolonged no matter the number of episodes or seasons I don’t want to separate myself from them. Or isn’t there a series with the same vibe as this one, the same visual and the same budget in the set and sets?
Finally I watched the first episode. My parents 😭. Jiang kills me with his painting technique 😂. (Can anyone tell Liu Lang that his little rivalry is useless?!! What does he want? He just has to put himself aside!!)
I watched the first episode and it’s interesting. I wanted to know if it had been a flop or not during its release? Because the first episode is good, the cinematography is good, Charlotte’s acting has still improved and their chemistry is good.
I liked this drama despite a few !!!! the characters were well written, you could feel the chemistry of the main leads even though the intention of a relationship wasn't there. The story was interesting and the fact that she managed to beat ‘evil’ with her psychological strengths was a good point. This is the first time I've watched a cdrama while it's on air, usually I wait for every episode. I knew it had to be this kind of ending, Yuan Shaocheng gradually climbing the ladder in an honest way and Ye Ping An travelling the world, I'm satisfied. In any case, it was fun to comment on my feelings here! I'm off to study again !!!!
