A beautiful heart break!
So I refused to watch this series for a while now because I could smell the heartbreaking ending from milestone away and yet I couldn't resist anymore. I was in melancholy mood and this series hit the spot.
1. The story:
Ok let's be clear about one thing here! This is not your typical BL story. It is a love story between two people who happens to be two men. They have love, intimacy and everything in between but just in their own way. There isn't a single kiss and only occasional hugs and that alone was enough to portray the love they have between them.
2. The acting:
What can I say except you're welcome! (Hahah sorry about that terrible joke.) The actors gave their 110% for the role. Especially the leads. The way they showed the characters emotions just through small gestures is awesome and in my opinion not everyone can pull it off and they did it perfectly.
3. The ending:
I know I know a lot of us wants a good ending for us queers and I am totally with that but here me out. This ending is heartbreakingly beautiful that not everyone can pull off. A happy ending is most desirable and even would have been good. But the ending they had was beautiful in their own way and each of them staying in eachother's story until the end was so precious.
4. Why should you watch?
If you are craving something different or even little sad story with a slice of life of a god's most unfavourite child then go for it. Even if you are not craving that I suggest you prepare yourself with your comfy blanket, ton of tissues and popcorn and go on a binging spree. It is worth every year you shed.
