Bad directorship with really awkward script

Firstly, the story of a child time traveling to the past to meet his parents sounds familiar right? Right, we all know which Korean film it was adapted from. However, the cast of the kid is the reason why this drama is going to survive; they picked the right kid to cast for this adorable role.

Secondly, the opening song sounds like any typical kpop song and it definitely did not fit the opening of this drama. You are going to vomit blood whenever there is an awkward insertion of a song during some heartthrob moments or skin contact between the main leads. Indeed awkward choice of songs that did not bring the correct mood.

Thirdly, the script was badly written. The choice of words is important in building characterisation. However, the scriptwriter did not consider that and the male lead did not sound like an overbearing rich boss as described. The female lead could not portray the feelings too. The introduction was badly planned out. I understand that this was meant to be about 5 episodes (300 mins) but the scenes in the first 9 episodes were simply rushed out that it did not create a logical flow of plot. I have seen many Japanese dramas that are as short as 5 episodes and the plots were really well planned out unlike this drama. The introduction is really important as it determines if the audience is going to continue watching it or not.
