That drama sucks it was extremely overhyped I dropped it at episode 12 and that psycho prince was sick .people loved the show because of the good looking actors otherwise it was non sense

I think it's symbolic because Marriage meant leaving her family and entering her husband’s household.
Staying apart highlighted that major life change in addition to the fact that she should be humble modest and discreet .

It may seem funny but the ML is my absolute favorite part of the show!I’d probably be just as obsessed with him as Zhang Hu is. The show is really deep in describing human nature not only with the character of the male lead but also ter spirit-chattered FL best friend or the old parents who aged with the same flaws.You can’t expect someone with deep, long-term trauma to suddenly be a perfect adult. He’s genuinely lovable because of his imperfections. Real life doesn’t work like people magically reach some final stage of maturity or behavioral equilibrium ;growth happens through those flaws, not after they disappear. People keep evolving while carrying their scars, contradictions, and imperfect behaviors.

The ML is my ever favourite thing of the show I would have been obsessed with him like Zhang Hu is .You can't wait for a person with a long trauma to be a perfect adult he's very pleasant with all his imperfections

Well it's not at all the type of triangle you would imagine and your assumptions of women falling in love easily is totally wrong I explained she knew he saved her life plus he is a very respectful and outstanding scholar who most women were infatuated by him in the first episodes.In spite of her young age she's very mature and intelligent she literally made financial projects to be independent and opt for non marriage all her life

She was initially attracted to the ML's nephew whom she thought saved her life but he rejected her.She's also very close to the SML who loves her but she friendzones him she's kind of a libertine who believes a woman has the right to get acquainted to men ,know them well before choosing a husband for life.

He was openly aggressive and rude to FL at different occasions even whipping her publicly out of anger pointing a gun and a knife at her .These fans as are mentally troubled as him

It doesn't make sense but it's is very realistic such relationships really exist they're old classmates and the definition of loyalty is not the same for everyone

Who isn't a good actor in this show I'm stunned by the level of acting !These actors are not what I used to watch in cdrama they're another level

It is exactly we have seen many resembling scenarios I personally hate these plots

He has no concubine and he's not into other girls there's a plot where he's committed to his family's engagements and a cousin's fiancée but that's I said part of the plot just watch

This si the type of cdrama I'd like to watch serious acting good writing interesting themes with a kit of humour . I'm still at ep 8 and whatever you think of the ML I find him the cutest whatever he does it suits him what a character !

It stressed me out not seeing him in the two episodes only to appear at the end of ep 14
