ONE OF ITS KIND,MENTALLY HEALING,BEST KDRAMA I HAVE EVER WATCHED

First of all, this drama being based on the topic of mental health might be criticised a lot but nothing is perfect . Now i have never faced any trauma except being in depression but in this quarantine this is maybe the best thing that has happened to me . Also i really don;t understand the ratings on korea maybe its just that it is airing on netflix too but damn do they need to open their eyes to mental health.
Second of all lets get into the review !!
WOW . what pulled me into the drama even in the first episode is maybe the chemistry of the leads Kim Soo Hyun and Seo Ye Ji . i mean they were just looking but it was instant chemistry with them on screen which peaked my interest from the beginning.and obviously from then on the chemistry kept exploding . The story from beginning to the end was so well portrayed with beautiful morals in each episode that makes you cry sometimes of happy or sad tears and cliffhanger that makes you so eager to watch the next episode
Yes there is a childhood trope but in this story i think this just fits in without being a cliche ,i fact that is what carries the story.
The satisfying thing is the cinematic parallels of the leads which is really ironic and beautiful and the most satisfying thing would be the character development !!?? like it was so good to watch the change of the characters after understanding how to face their fears and attain happiness . i loved that.
There isn't an episode that does not contain beautiful quotes on life
And the ending was golden one of the best endings in kdrama history
At the end i would like to say the acting done by all the actors was outstanding and made the show all the more real
Kim Soo Hyun was really amazing with the emotions he showed and the way he cried he made me cry too and i love him for that'
Seo Ye Ji was phenomenal , lets agree a lot of us have now fallen for her and will look forward to more from her ,she was amazing in her portrayal of Ko Mun Young and aspd, i fell in love with her acting an crying . i felt irreversible pain she cried her soul out for something she didn't do and i look forward to more from her
Oh Jung Se playing Sang Tae was the best decision ever he did amazing , i have seen him in many dramas but this was the best i have seen of him. Acting autistic wouldn't have been easy for him but he did a very good job .
all of the actors deserve daesang for such performance!!
AT last i suggest everyone to watch this drama to help you heal a little or maybe provide comfort to the lonely souls out there so that they can take the step of courage to attain happiness in these hard times . i am really so attached to it i am probably gonna rewatch it again a lot .

I remember watching many Chinese dramas you'll see there are parts were things don't make any sense literally, you wouldn't get where things came from. Not saying that this drama doesn't have any flaws it does but the excellence bypassed the little flaws make it irrelevant. When you first get into it, if you read the book you'll totally get what's happening and maybe even cry because it totally enhanced the scene the scene in a better way that was written in the book but! If you didn't read it, thing is that you heard about it from somewhere or someone recommended it you won't get anything but trust me stick around for at least 10 episodes and you'll get everything that's gonna make sense to you slowly. Since the book divides and fragments the story into past and future and the time gap being 16 years the first half focuses on the past then present. The leads were really well choosen as they both express what they feel through their eyes so perfectly and despite boy love facing censorship in China this ain't a click air, quuerbait or whatever you call it bait, its not shown but totally intended as to these 2 are soulmates and made for each other While watching you'll never know how hard you'll have fallen for that guy with the smiling face and the guy with a neutral face but already makes your heart hurt for him. It was an experience for me because this was my first time watching a Boy Love story so much so that I started reading the novel too. See when you read the novel you totally get what actually happened in the book versus the hidden meaning in the live action as they can't show it they sure as hell heavily intend it, beautiful I must say. Best experience ever. Highly recommended.

Literally i didnt even mean to start the drama . It was that my sister wanted to watch it so i said why not and there were like 4 episodes so i said why not?? it had only 4 episodes but boy was i in for a ride . Every week waiting for it was a torture because you didnt know what happened next . There are a lot of poeple in the comment section that are saying they didnt like it because during the end they turned Dan Oh to a lovesick puppy who went on about Haru rest of the episodes . i totally disagree . When Dan Oh figured that she was in a comic and much less pleasant fact that she was an extra, she wanted a life out of it . Where she was herself and someone who knew her as herself out of the character settings and then she met this boy who could change her destiny but also knew her for who she is and loved her for who she is not for the character setting. So why cant she be in love with him and be herself ? He respected her for who she was and loved her for who she was. in life having individuality is important but if you dont have anyone to share it with then whats the use ? ANS YES i am a bit mad that the writer didnt give us definite answers as to why Haru ha ssuch powers and what will happen next and is this really a happy ending but i am kinda ok with how the story turned out . Baekyung had his redemption that i am really glad for i would be so mad if he really killed her but he ddint and verything turned out to be fine . To be honest every drama has its shortcoming so does this but overall this drama really was a breath of fresh air and the only drama this year which had me yearning for more even after its ending . Since i watch dramas without looking at the cast and the actors this drama really surprised as the rookie actors were great .i have seen jaewook in search www so i knew how good he was but rowoon surprised me and i am really looking forward to his future works and even Hyeyoon!! the other rookie actors were really great too!!
