They had to cut some scene if it is too steamy. That's why bathtub was cut short. You can see it is much longer in bts and they shot this kissing scene for longest.

It's not misunderstanding but they have different opinion. If there is any misunderstanding, it is resolved quickly withing 1 or 2 episodes.
