I didn't know I was going to soften up to Type's character, but it happened gradually and it was so ... unintentional. I think that's the best thing about the show and acting. It flows well and there aren't weird breaks in-between the plot. There were a few cameos from other couples that I loved too, but I think the main couple's storyline remains to be the most captivating.

While watching it, I felt so intrigued by the acting. It's done flawlessly and I can truthfully say that it's gripping and beautifully shot. It also does very well in terms of representing the lesbian relationship between the two characters, showing how they built up the dynamic of their relationship.
Odd little side note, but I also loved the trailer. It's the first thing that drew me in.

Cute but a little lackluster.
Honestly nothing major to say about A Breeze of Love. I think the story was wholesome and but I found myself a little bored even though it is only 8 episodes. It lacks in depth and is instead full of cheesiness and I didn't particularly find much chemistry between the characters.I think it's a good one off or starter BL, or for someone looking for a surface level high school romance, but honestly nothing that special in my opinion. I'm not particularly fond of lingering shots of every single interaction which is where they lost me a little. I think it could've been improved maybe if we got more insight into Dong Wook's insomnia or a few less shots of silent sunlight scenes and more dialogue. Tell me why I was the most interested in the show during the basketball tournament.
So yeah, cute but a little lackluster.

One of the best BL shows out there
They outdid themselves with "Theory Of Love". The quality was amazing, the storyline was gripping and the acting was compelling. Everything coming together to tell an emotional story that pulls at your heartstrings and has your emotions all over the place.I'm quite new to the BL scene, but I can say that this one is amazing. There were no scenes where I had to bite down my teeth in cringe and I never felt like the story was going astray or boring. My favorite thing, which I think tied everything together, was the acting. The acting was so moving and you end up sobbing right alongside the characters. Third, especially, was portrayed spectacularly and I applaud the actor for displaying his feelings in such a manner that pulled the fans in.
I would highly recommend this show for anyone looking for something to fall in love with.

Wholesome.
I think that's the one word I would use to describe this show, so very wholesome. It is the kind of thing you just want to have a hot drink and comfortably watch. I really enjoyed the acting and directing, the lack of slow motion dramatic shots is truly a relief as we just get to sit with the real time feelings and words of the characters. The manga is one of my favorites and I do think the show did it justice. The characters were similar to how I imagined them to be and I think the relationship they built was so heartwarming.
I think both the actors emanated their characters and it was so fun to see Togawa just absolutely stuff his face like in the manga. I just love this story, I love how hopeful it is, how it revitalizes the optimism Nozue has for life and getting older. There isn't anything out of the ordinary about the characters, they are just everyday people living their lives, and something about that within this show is so endearing.
This is actually one of the very few shows I think I would rewatch in the future, and I think every time I do I would just crave more of their story.

Heartwarming and hopeful.
Very much appreciated how emotionally aware this story was, how natural the acting felt, and the care with which the characters were treated within their narrative. The dynamic between the leads is very wholesome + the trust they have in each other. Also Jae Won was a character I very much appreciate and love and how his complexities were shown. The cinematography I really really liked. Also did not see the Conan Grey song coming!!!
Over all enjoyed my time watching this - very easy to binge watch.

Overall I think BL fans will enjoy it because it's jam-packed with drama, and honestly, I think my rating of it increased because of Yihwa's character. She is one of my favorite BL characters of all time and she kept me hooked!

What I did love is that Korn and Knock are still playful with each other. Not overly sentimental and not too cheesy. Their relationship dynamic (when it's good) is so well portrayed and I loved the eventual character development of their parents too.
"Love has no gender." -- I loved this quote.
I think the ending provides closure and I will truly miss this cast.

An Important Additional To The GL Repertoire
Honestly I was craving the trope-y trashy tv that straight people get to watch as comfort when I stumbled across Blank and that is indeed what I got and I was hooked!!! This is a bingeworthy watch for late nights and I was honestly very happy with the acting. I think both actors did their characters such justice and it was actually not trashy at all when the moments got serious and vulnerable.I thought season 2 was slightly repetitive and honestly enjoyed season 1 a lot better. It felt like they figured out these actors cry really well and season 2 was structured to highlight only the tears pftt.
Age gap isn't even my thing at all I have never liked it, but hey, they got me there. I think the characters had a fun dynamic. What I did not appreciate was Khun Nueng making decisions for Anueng - that felt more authoritarian than partner-y (part of why season 2 kind of missed for me).
Also the parents and the connection they all had to Khun Nueng actually made me laugh out loud because that was so soap opera-y but okay we roll.
Honestly I think the acting and portrayal of the characters carried the whole show because on premise alone, it does not sound that appealing. But GLs get so little and having something with genuine effort, good acting and cinematography feels really rewarding. I crave for more sapphics on my screen so I have to be biased in my appreciation for anything new I find.

Life: Love on the Line (Director's Cut)

Like squeezing a fist around my heart.
I loved this movie. Plain and simple, I loved it. 6 minutes in and I was invested. I did not know much of the plot going in, so I was very pleasantly surprised when it wasn't about two characters getting together but actually their lives, the story of their entire life past 17. People falling in love young and then growing together is one of my weaknesses, when done right it will always get me and have me in my emotions, and boy did they.I just love watching people fall more into love as they grow, and yessss Akira did make mistakes and Yuuki is so precious but it felt so human I was hurting with the characters. Equivalent to eating glass as I watched them battle with the voices of the outside world. I like that we got straight to the point, from the start. This is their story of two people who love.
Major soft spot for this type of stuff so I'm so heavily biased but I enjoyed my time and I did have misty eyes at the end of it. Two people loving each other longer than they have even been apart, actually evolving into a relationship that works for them, whatever that looks like. I only ask to see more of their life, even more than we got because I am greedy and I love their softness and dynamic.

A cinematic production.
Honestly the biggest point for this show is the production. It feels very cinematic and is less "happy sunshine rainbows" which I think matures it in a way I quite enjoy. I really appreciated the more ambiguous way that Si Won and his mothers' relationship was rather than tying it up in a neat bow. The main couple had many beautiful scenes, but I think more dialogue would have been beneficial along with more time. The ending feels a bit choppy and though I was pulled in by the beautiful way the show is shot, I am left a little empty handed with why I should care about the main couple. It feel more like we are kept at arms length by the show. Never truly pulled into any of the plot beats - other than perhaps Si Won's one conversation with his mother. It was a nice show, but I think that is what makes it fall short in the long term. Beautiful but lacking a little substance, which is an ironic thing when you take into context the themes that it was trying to portray.

Was smiling through the whole thing.
Honestly I'm kind of over high school settings since I have been out of it for so long but they got me with this one. So fun all throughout I was having genuine real life reactions to so many scenes; be it squealing, laughing, or holding my breath. I absolutely love that they took their time with the main couple and we got to see them actually interact and exist in different situations around each other. They are so cute with their little mannerisms like teasing, poking each other or just generally being adorable. Honestly one sentence to sum the up would be the rock and the star. Tinn was all throughout, never missing a beat, a rock for Gun to rely on at any given moment. He never ever failed with that and it made their story so soft.I do have to look past the very obvious product placement that made me snort and also the general slow motion zoom in stuff that is typical of BLs. Also I didn't think we needed all those side couples. They're cute but it kinda cheapened the story since they didn't get their time to develop and I personally didn't care for any of them.
I would have also liked to see Gun supporting Tinn towards the end since it was Tinn that was in a more precarious situation. The resolution was adorable, but I would have liked to see the tables turned just once.
Overall it was very youthful and I was smiling and genuinely laughing. Even the sound effects I think mostly worked, and the music was catchy. But the mina couple carried the whole show. Their chemistry was great and so natural and they're silly with each other which arguably is the most important thing!
On a personal note as well: I didn’t find myself almost at all thinking about watching anything else while watching this. I was so engrossed, this is such an easy show to binge watch on a cozy day.

Such cute chemistry and soft fluffy vibes.
I was so impressed by this BL! The chemistry between the actors was so good, i loved the goofy little scenes of the just hanging around each other!!! It made the relationship feel so real and I just love seeing the dynamic of the two characters in play. The fact that I wanted more of them just hanging around being themselves is a sign I loved the couple. There are no overly dramatic scenes that make me roll my eyes or lines that are wayyy too corny and even though it did have the overly produced vibe to it that a lot of BL has, I didn't mind it so much since I liked the story.
Also I think the way Ki Tae expressed his anxiety was actually quite a heartfelt scene. The emotional beats did hit their mark with this show since I think there were just the right amount, balanced out with the more lighthearted stuff.
Overall I think the acting and chemistry carried the show with the foundation of the circumstances of the plot.

We will be together in every universe (literally)
"The current of time always runs forward. I might already be your past, but for me, you are my future."I love me a historical and even more so one with an intriguing storyline so this was right up my street. I love how much we go involved in the side characters and some of them went against my expectation of the stereotype which is what I love to see.
It started of sooooo good but I did think the show got a little stagnant in the middle, regardless, I can't fault any of the plot points, they were lovely. I do think there was a little too much of the cheesy lines, and I have a general distaste for the overly produced meticulously placed set and everything feeling a little too clean and polished but that seems to be a current issue with cinema.
The actor for Jom was amazing!!! I can't compliment him enough on his small stubble facial expressions and the way he played Jom was just lovely. Made me involved right away and really sympathize for his situation. The only thing I have to say, which is not his fault but the hair. I could not stop myself from being distracted at the bowl cut and the uniform bangs - a side part never hurt anyone.
The romance was very very cute and I love the lack of stupid conflicts. I think the characters communicate well within their dynamic and they were so careful and sweet with each other - love that. Also the GL side story!!! So happily surprised and I was so here for it!!!
Overall, I think it is one of the best made BLs I've watched in a while and I think the plot is great and the beginning kinda gave a thriller vibes which was fun.

An innocently soft and fluffy story from start to finish.
"How nice it is to fall in love with you."I appreciated how healthy this was. I wouldn't expect high schoolers to have distinguished words to describe feelings and the clunky authentic way these two did it felt very fitting for the setting the show put together. They communicated so well that there was no space for embarrassment and it's just a wholesome time watching two people fall in love by the sea.
I also really liked how chill Ryuuji was in contrast to Amane. I think the actor did a really good job of portraying the laid back nature of his character which fit very well with his profile.
No unnecessary drama or third act conflict that makes me wanna roll my eyes. It has the vibe of snuggling into a soft blanket with a warm drink.
