Yea the engineering students are also assholes - wai is a pain to deal with but he doesn’t know their history so thinks Pat is just a pain in the ass. (And he is!)
They hurt pran in the rugby match and there’s no reason for Wai to think Pat is on the trip for any good.
Suspect level 1000 and Wai had to deal with a lot of crap already - of course he has 0 trust
Side note - I love me some jimmy so I’m not as hard on him as others
I noticed it, and I like how those things tells us a lot about Pat's character.
I can’t really put my finger on a good example, but almost like when you see those dog rescue videos and have to build trust- bad example I know but that level of care and persistence
Anyone noticed that when they fell Pat wraps his arms around Pran's head to protect him. I may be overthinking this.
On the roof top scene, he doesn't touch Pran with his hands until Pran grabs his face and sucks his soul out of his body.
Before that down at the fight, Pat doesnt grab Pran by the shirt for quite a while, even has his hands up in a kind of defensive position for quite awhile before he grabs Pran back.
Going to rewatch 1-6 again to check physical cues (well thats my excuse for rewatching)
Its so good to see them in "In Family We Trust" as well.

It’s very obvious in the drunk wai scene that he’s holding back - obvious now! But I want to see how he changes.
But if wai does find it and figures it out -
