I like it so far. Nothing exceptional but it's a nice characters driven plot with chill vibe. Not every series needs to be complicated. I like the characters, especially Winny's. It's a change from the characters he played previously. Wave's situation is really pitiful, but in a way, he got what he wanted : to be someone else for a time, to live new experiences before becoming king.
Even without the NC scene, Jet and Charn carried this episode. I'm enjoying the progression of their relationship…
I like that they're honest with their emotions and express them : Jet telling Charn he has pretty eyes, Charn explaining their past lives. I was expecting him to keep it a secret for several episodes for the sake of drama. I love how they were both into the NC, shy, awkward but smiling and eager. Very fitting for their characters. Tbh I'm still watching the series for them and Rampueng. MLs' storyline is weirdly paced and feels forced.
They skimmed over the story so much... Two grown ass men spending the week-end together and what did they do what ? Watch videos ? Sure... They should have replaced the NC scenes with scenes of them getting to know each other. Their relationship doesn't feel deep enough, sincere enough so I wasn't moved when the reveal and subsequent drama happened.
Most non-Asians do not understand the relationships people have in families and communities. They dabble in our…
Weird take. People explain why they found the last episodes slow (ie the main character does nothing but cleaning and cooking instead of moving the plot forward) and your answer is "they don't get our culture"? One, what's got to do with the pacing and narrative choices ? Two, that's forgetting that there are non-white people watching asian bls. For example, Africans and Latin americans do have a strong sense of families and communities, and anthropology studies show these communities share many values and families structures. Complaining about Khem doing housework isn't a dig at thai culture, it's just saying "my guy, someone trying to kill you, why you've been cooking and dusting for 4 episodes, doing nothing concrete to defeat Ramphueng?". It ain't deeper than that.
I think this will end as a bromance for all the couples.Biu likes Lin but Lin likes Nut and Nut likes her back.Win…
I agree to everything except Nut liking Lin. He doesn't. For 2 ep it's been clear he likes Win. If Win were to confess I'm sure Nut would reciprocate. I really dislike characters like Win who don't have a backbone. I understand he didn't say anything the first time, but he had a chance to come back and he's still doing nothing. I really hope something happens next episode otherwise the whole premise will be pointless.
Excellent from start to finish. Storyline, interesting characters, smart directing, cinematography, chemistry... It was perfect. I can totally see a sequel sets 4 years later. A special episode or 4 episodes of their reunion. It would be a missed opportunity not to add it in 2026 or even 2027 line up.
So I'm watching a series called Khemjira where said Khemjira is cursed and will die soon if he doesn't undo the curse. Yet, for some reason, Khemjira for about 5 episodes has only been doing housework, crushing on the guy who refuses to help him properly, and talking romance with his friends. Why the main character is playing Cinderella ?! The series was great in the first 2 episodes but now Ramphueng took a back seat and they're focusing on an underdeveloped romance and a love triangle. I signed up for horror but it seems the writers took the romcom scenic route. Guess I'll have to reframe my expectations in order to continue the series since I'm still interested in Ramphueng and JetChan.
Worse in the novel. Only gets resolved in the extras... and ...like... I'm worried it'll be the same here....…
Fr, the whole internet is blaming SWL for GT own stupidity and I'm like "What I'm missing ? Are we watching the same show"? I can't stand their storyline.
Well, one thing they did good is making me watch OFC again 🏃🏾♀🏃🏾♀ 2025 and Tojo doesn't think they can be together and I don't know, keep it quit ? Have one of them change department or company ? He acted like it's the end of the world. So dramatic. For a 40yo, you'd think he'll be more focused on what's important in life and YOLO, cause life is too short to give a damn about other people expectations.
