Title Deep In
I've read many danmeis and some of them are quite unhinged, but never read one like this. This is pure filth!…
Fr. I was left disturbed, I still can't believe what I read.

Don't know where you're at but FangChi & GaoZhun's story is smut galore. And all over the place. I liked it…
OOC means Out Of Character. The characters personalities are presented a certain way, and after some chapters you have a good idea how they think and act. However, for the sake of drama, the writer makes them act differently from the way they usually behave. They do things that contradict their motives and/or values.

Actually this sounds like the story of a lot of BL novels. Love through manipulation with SA and rape in different…
A lot of chinese BL I would say. I've read many BLs and the chinese one are really something else.
I'm used to toxic relationships and noncon but somehow it has to make sense within the storyline like in To My Shore, Abo Desire and such. But for the first time, while reading Deep In The Act, I felt it was so unnecessary to have GZ encounters SA and rape repeatedly.
Also, FC and GZ's actions are nonsense. I got emotional whiplash. You have to suspend disbelief completely to appreciate their story. I guess I couldn't do it.
Finally, the sex scenes are annoying and never romantic (I don't know why chinese authors think sex has to be rough and unpleasant for the bottom).

I really hope they drop the drama and focus on the real story because there's no way they adapted the BS I've just read about FangChi & GaoZhun' storyline.
The author must be crazy to write what they did. Rape romanticization, manipulation, cruelty, out of character actions left and right. Unbelievable.
Not gonna lie, at first I liked their story, it was intriguing and I could see the parallel between GaoZhun and Zhang Zhun but then for reasons I can't comprehend, the writer dived into rape porn : Gz is SA and raped multiple times by FC and others characters. GZ even dates his first rapist! I don't get the purpose of it all, it's just there, gratuitous and perverse. What a letdown.

As much as I love and I do mean love Pond, I sometimes feel that he is not acting in the same drama. His character…
This is a lakorn, the vilain is always over the top. Pond is doing what the director tells him to do. He's doing great as the annoying but funny antagonist.

They're spending too much time on the inside drama. The series only as 12 episodes and there are still many things to deal with Zhen Xin & Zhang Zhun's relationship. I don't believe we need 25min of inside drama out of a 40min episode.

This is def Englot's best series. I'm really impressed with Charlotte's acting. I saw she had improved in Pretrichor and here she's even better.
I only rate the series 8/10 because the last 2 episodes got on my nerve (Lada stubbornness and her dad's illness arc we didn't ask for).

as a huge utsukare fan and seto toshiki enjoyer...... so far i dont like it at all... toshiki looks hot as hell…
The problem is that they told everything already. I don't understand the narrative choices. The series has 10 episodes, why couldn't they take time, at least 2 episodes to let us know the characters ? Why do the servant like the prince ? When did they start their sexual relationship ? When did the prince start to have feeling for the servant ? What are they gonna tell us for 9 episodes ? Such a weird first episode.

I usually dislike weak characters but here I don't know why I already like XiaoFan so much. Such a delicate cinammon roll, such a (fake?) dimwit. I want to protect him!
I think he doesn't annoy me because they took time to explain/show his circonstances (he's from the countryside, his family is abusive). I also think he's a natural submissive. That's why he latched on Bei Lu Qing. Of course, he wants to repay the Bei family but they didn't ask him to become Bei Lu Qing's lapdog. He's doing this because it's his personality. He needs to serve people to be happy. It happens, there are plenty people like that IRL, and there's nothing wrong with that as long as they find their right person (someone who wouldn't take advantage of them).

You have very good points, but if you flip the perspective you can also say that Bei Luqing grooms Lu Xiaofan…
That is not what grooming is.

Why you feel the need to critizice thai actors in order to praise Toptap & Minlee is beyond me.
What are you comparing here, really ? Thai bls are usually light cause thai audience favor romance and fantasy. They do few angst/dark theme like Payback and when they do it's usually good (ie KinnPorsche and The Bangkok boy). So you're comparing acting skills from actors playing in light romance and fantasy series to actors in dark/angst productions ? Does it seem fair to you ?

I can cite many thai actors that viewers and professionals consider great actors (Khaotung, First, Apo, Mile, Pond, Singto, Boom, Gun, Poom, Ongsa and so on). Can you do the same with other asian bl actors ?
I'm not saying all thai actors are great but I'm tiring of comment like yours that bash thai bls/actors but turn a blind eye on mediocre bls and actors from other asian countries. The double standard in the fandom is something else.

It's always funny to me how some viewers lap up toxic cbls and their crazy MLs but bash other bls if the characters don't behave how they want them to. Talk about double standard... Writing long ass comments about Kanit and how bad GMMtv writers are. Please, be serious. A flawed character isn't bad writing, a character doing something you don't agree with isn't bad writing. Writers don't work to please you ffs
