The acting ruined the story’s potential.
Sorry, but this is going to be the first K-drama I’ve ever dropped. The female lead Shin Ye-eun was just acting, that’s it. Her crying scenes felt like she was simply pretending, and they weren’t convincing at all, even with the melancholic music. I tried so hard to continue, even checking the remaining episodes and the finale, but her acting just didn’t work for me.
It’s just my opinion, but I feel like there are other actresses who would have been more deserving of the role. I just can’t stay invested, even though the male lead is good Ong Seong-wu. The story is promising, but her acting ruins the mood for me.
