This drama reminds me of Meet Yourself. There is not a story going on, just the characters living their life. There is nothing as such a villainous character, or an incident which is too intense yet I found it so intriguing and loving all the episodes. It is one of those soothing, comforting dramas that pulls out you from a hectic, fast paced routine and makes you experience the slow yet comforting love. They did a fabulous job in casting, the female lead is cute, innocent and gives newly bloomed flower vibes which needed for the character. If the actress wasn't good at her job, her character could have become so annoying and corny but it isn't. I started it yesterday and already binged it to the latest episodes.
I didn't planned to watch this one because I recently finished a very intense Cdrama and also watching a rom-com which was okayish to me. So I was planning to start the kdrama instead but I just tried this one because all the good dramas are ongoing rn. However, I was shook when I started this drama, it's rare for a fl who is innocent and so sweet to not be cringey and annoying. This one reminds me of the girl from the lighter and the princess, her character was also a pampered girl and knowing much about the world. This drama is very unique, slow burn but definitely keeps you anticipate their interactions.
I love how every episode ends with some cliffhanger or interesting point that makes you wait for the next. The best part is it only has 12 episodes and is fast-paced just like perfect marriage revenge. I can't believe we're already half way through the story and I am loving it, the chemistry, the way the leads are portraying their characters are just amazing. For the first time, I am actually liking Bae In Hyuk as the ML in a drama, these kind of historical genres fits him so well. Him as Tae Ha is just perfect to me, although he is nailing both timeline characters but him being Tae Ha in Joseon hits differently.
Seriously. I keep going back and forth on the page to see the update. It's been more than 2 hrs now.
Seriously. My problem is if I don't start a drama while ongoing, I kinda lost the feeling of watching it after it completed because I almost know the whole story from reels and shorts now. ðŸ˜ðŸ¥¹ I still need to watch castaway diva and just trying to start it.
stop this shit trope man rich male lead and fake marriage, are south Korean dramas out of story and options?
I bet you haven't watched this drama yet before coming here to say all this. You know there are so many dramas that have different trope. Rather than going to them and watch the dramas of the tropes you likem you decided to come here and stop this shit kind of nonsense. Just because you don't like it, doesn't mean that others don't. No one is forcing you, you can simply ignore this drama and watch others rather than acting like this.
I don't like how they changed the rules, now crews have to disband and create a new one with their mentors. I…
Exactly. At this point, they should have just done individual auditions. It makes no sense to break the groups just to make one with 7 people only. For the auditions, they must have prepared together, and breaking this news to them on the spot was so nonsense. At least tell them about this before so that they would be prepare for this kinda situation. The last season had better and unique format in my opnion, by adding this rule they kinda ruined the mood of the SGF which was inspired by SWF. Now it's more like any usual dancing show where they come as individuals and may or may not become a group for a performance or more like mnet idol survival show where they comes as a team and breaks down as individuals.
Just finished this drama. What a wonderful drama it was. It was one of those dramas that I hadn't planned to watch at all but seeing it's hype everywhere, I started when it only has 4 episodes. After watching first episode, I had to check it's drama profile to see how many episodes it has. Because the dramatic makjang plot and storyline make it look it 42-52 episodes drama. I was pleasantly surprised that it only has 12 episodes. This drama was best not only because of the complex yet intriguing storyline but also because of the amazing cast, direction and timely accurate music and most importantly because of its fast paced and no draggy, boring episodes. Every episode had some kind of meaning and revealation to it and loved how beautifully it ended. It gave me penthouse vibe with better ending and execution. Penthouse could have been the best makjang, suspense thriller drama if they hadn't dragged the series to 3 seasons and would have made the first season a perfect one. I feel it's hype was kinda lost when it was dragged to 3 seasons. But this one, it had everything. The angst, revenge, love and romance and friendship and family. I love how they didn't use the top actresses but this JYM who might not have given best dramas as a FL but had a vast history of dramas acting as a guest or supporting characters. She was perfect for this role, she managed to portrayal, innocence, the feeling of being betrayal and the determination she got after waking up one year ago. This was a female centric drama and she nailed this role. I love how supporting characters become the male lead and rock their roles. Shin Hye Sun also had done countless amount of dramas as extras and supporting ones and after she started to get main lead roles, she nailed it everytime, showing everyone her talent. I really hope this actress get to showcase her talent as well. I am curious what will be her next project, really hope it will do well.
You have now witnessed the primary conflict of this drama which is weirdly true to life: both of them are more…
That's true. While watching the later episodes it gets better for me. The fl shows some self respect and maturity by moving on by not signing the contract with time. I am glad she did not do that. I am curious how their relationship will develop.
I am at episode 4 and it's kinda good. Not the best I would say but good enough to watch when you want something light. However, I was screaming in disbelief when she kissed him and say all those things. Even venting her frustration out was fine as well but...kissing him forcefully was not good, very awkward to watch. I don't like when such characters cannot take NO as an answer. Loving for 4 years was your will but forcing him and saying such things doesn't fit well. I don't like when they glorifies such actions in dramas, it gives people a wrong idea that such things in real life can looked romantic and acceptable as well. But I will watch the drama for now, maybe it gets better. Maybe.
In case you haven't check the page lately...the actress has changed again. Nothing seems to be confirmed anywhere…
That happened for hidden Love? I didn't know that. I am reading that manhua and it has the best art and I was so excited for this drama. Didn't knew that so much happened behind the scenes. Lusi really saved the drama and made it possible to be a hit. Because this drama was mostly from FL's pov and if she hadn't acted well, it could have gone so wrong. But her expressions, acting, crying scenes, even music, everything was just perfect. I love her ost in the drama too.

Thanks. I hadn't seen this change. I can't say anything about this change because I haven't seen any drama from this actress. I wonder when the full cast will be confirmed and we gets the dates. I really hope they cast someone who could pull off the characters and not just the famous ones. Even if they gets famous cast, at least they could have the talented ones. Because a good actor can save the drowing drama, similarly, a weak actor could ruin a blockbuster hit drama. Same happened with hidden Love, technically it wasn't a very great or new story in drama world. It was a simple story which had everything best about it, the actors, music, cinematography, camera work and of course the writer who gave us some great dialogues. Thats how we get a complete drama which can be called best.
Lee Se Young is just brilliant in this. She's comedy gold. Watching for her, don't really care about the family…
I actually didn't like him in other dramas, somehow his acting always seemed bland and weak to me. But in this drama, I find it quite interesting and suitable to his role. He is actually showing more emotions than he usually does in other dramas, lol. Maybe the influence of other actors works as well, because his scenes with SY are just different. They have more emotions and expressions. I feel he has improved alot too. Since the supporting cast is strong too, I feel his role is coming out well as well. He did well in Under the Queen's umbrella as well, ah there he was sick prince as well . 🤡🫢 Looks like he truly suits such pitiful, sickly roles.
I have read this webtoon long ago but stopped it after a few chapters as it was not translated that time and understanding raw was quite difficult because of its historical Korean words usage. I am glad I dropped it because watching the drama first hand is much more thrilling and exciting without knowing what is going to happen next. The actors are doing an amazing job in portraying the comical scenes and emotional rollercoaster. SY is seriously the queen of historical dramas, the characters she always picks is strong, quirky woman in historical times. Love how they showed her character in past times and let us know how different she was in her time and this way she can use her talent in this world too. The preview of next episode was quite dramatic and interesting. Can't wait for it.
Yan lin will always have my heart next to XS. The actor did a very good job. Too bad he didn’t get much credit.
Yes. I recently finished Bai Lu's only for love and was looking for some of her good dramas because she is truly a great actress and ended up watching this. This one didn't disappoint me at all, the drama deserves all the hype and praises. She perfectly did the role of a villainess and someone who was traumatized with the past. That was so well done
