South meets North

I really liked this drama and the interaction of the characters. Especially between captain Ri/Yoon Se-ri and his "boys". I was really curios how the differences and the seperation of north and south would be represented. And the shown prejudices were refreshing. Of course I am aware that it is not 100% accurate since it is a fictional story and not a documentation. I liked all the charakters and started rooting for the second couple. After all it was funny, exciting and in my opinion well made.

Even more toxic than fifty shades of grey

Oh boy! He faked her medical report and made her belive to have a deadly illness. He even made a doctor to play along. ONLY to meet her. That´s insane. He just could have asked her for a date. And he (who did all tht)dares to freak out because she adopts a dog. WHAT? And even after she finds out she makes sheeps eyes at him and goes through it like a little will-less wifey. This is soooo toxic! And his best female friend which is totally obsessed with him was just as insane as him. They would have deserved each other. I absolutely hate these hysteric, obsessed, insane 2nd interests. I´m sick of these kind of characters. For me the only sane person was his best male friend. After all the plot and the characters are so so wrong and still it is shown as good and romantic. This is NO love and NOT romantic. I´m speechless. Why do we still have to endure this toxic stuff ?

Jo Young and Jo Eun Sup saved the show

I only watched and finished the series because of Jo Young and Jo Eun Sup because I liked them and wanted to know, if things will end up well for them. The romance of the main couple came out of nowhere - no depth and no chemistry. He was the exaggerated filthy rich prince charming on a white horse and she a wanna be tough girl. Why did she point Jo Youngs gun against Lee Gon and asking over again if it is real? Girl! Why do you have to see the gun and then point it towards a human without being threatened? There is absolutely no reason for that. Besides you are working for the police! You should know better how to handle firearms! Absolutely nonsense and stupid! And this minister was such a status hunter. After all there were too many points that upset me. Without Jo Young and Jo Eun Sup I would have droped the series quickly. I can not recommend it after all.
