A real life lesson that will change my perception of the world, people and life forever.

I never thought I would feel this way through screenwriting or acting, but Move to heaven has no limits. I was quickly invested in the story out of empathy for Geu-roo, the main character who has no apparent form of empathy due to his Asperger Syndrome disability. The story is unique and so different from what we are used to seeing in series (internationally speaking).
The photography is so beautiful... everything is precise and meticulously crafted.
I cried every episode, but good tears.

The drama raises big questions:
- What is family?
- Is a person doomed to have a bad fate all his life?
- What is Asperger's syndrome?
- How can a person who is different (culturally, mentally, socially) fit into a society?

The duo uncle and nephew is great because of their fundamental differences: A man (Uncle - Sang gu) who is fearless, breaks all codes and is a bit of a "gangster", who has built his life alone and a youngster (Geu-roo) who has always been surrounded and helped. The contrast is so well done and in the end, both learn from each other. The difference makes them stronger.

Even though the drama is strong in emotions, it is very light to watch (10 episodes). It's very quick and that's exactly what it needs.

Thanks to the actors who are ALL exceptional.
Thanks to the writers.
Thanks to the technicians.

Thanks to everyone who worked on Move to Heaven. 10/10

A captivating, thrilling, and surprising drama: An enjoyable experience not to be missed!

I was hesitant at first, but I found it brilliant as it progressed. Congrats to the team who worked on this drama! I'm not giving it a perfect score because I found the final episodes to be excessive and slow, as they didn't contribute anything to the story, which should have concluded around episode 13 or 14.

STORY

The story is well-told and manages to captivate throughout the narrative. Unexpected plot twists are present, although some may be slightly disappointing. Nevertheless, the overall execution is commendable. The characters quickly become endearing, and their stories and pasts are captivating, although it would have been desirable to have more in-depth development for some of them. The drama could have reached a satisfying conclusion around episode 13 or 14; the final episodes are a bit too long. In summary, the story is well-crafted and thoughtful.

ACTING

The actors are remarkable, with no complaints whatsoever. They master their craft, and it's sometimes difficult to distinguish whether their characters are good or evil due to their excellent performances. I discovered some very talented actors, with a special mention for Moon Chae Won and Seo Hyun Woo, who excel in this drama.

MUSIC

Considering the ambiance of the drama and the different emotions it evokes, the music could have been better and more prominent..

REWATCH VALUE

Honestly, I think I will revisit this drama after completing other titles on my list because I enjoyed it a lot due to the remarkable performances and beautiful camera shots. Kudos to the technical team. However, I will likely skip the final episodes that, in my opinion, don't contribute anything to the overall drama.

Chill drama but a main character not believable or even unbearable

the biggest flaw of this drama is the acting of the main actress playing Yoo min Jae. I really had a hard time getting into it and feeling any empathy or friendship for her. Fortunately, the other characters are there to make you want to continue the story. Overall, it's a good drama that can be watched in chill mode and enjoyed. Overall I had a good time. I also have the impression that the beginning of the drama is very long to set up and that the end is closed very quickly. too bad, we don't have all the answers we would like to have and characters therefore go from useful to useless.

A Rapid Descent into Mediocrity: A Review of a Disappointing Drama

This critique is not intended to denigrate this drama; on the contrary, I strive to be neutral, hence the rating of 5/10.

STORY

The beginning was promising, well-introduced, and I was really captivated (typical plot: an invisible girl likes the most popular boy). I really enjoyed the foundation of the story.

However, after 3, 4, 5 episodes, what happened? Absolutely everything and nothing. It's extremely messy... There are too many long and never-ending episodes, and in a single episode, a crucial plot twist can be introduced without ever having heard of it before!
There is also too much unnecessary dialogue: we learn nothing about the characters, whether they are secondary or main, and there are dialogue-less scenes that add nothing. The photography is not even particularly beautiful (the colors are dull, the framing is bad, and the final green screen scene is particularly ugly and poorly integrated).
The story doesn't progress, and you could watch the drama by only viewing 3 episodes out of 24. I'm very frustrated because I was forced to watch everything without skipping anything.

The characters are poorly developed. I really liked the secondary characters because they have more "human" scenes than the main characters, who have no past, family context, or clearly established personalities until episode 18. Waiting 18 episodes to get attached to the main characters is long, too long. We are more invested in the story of Jiang Bai Li and Luo Zhi's brother than in that of the main characters.

However, the interesting contrast between adult love life (Luo Zhi's brother) and Luo Zhi herself with her childhood love is nice, as it shows that lasting love is love that involves responsibilities, not just stars in your eyes.

There are characters we hate, don't understand, and who are not human: Ge Bi, Luo Zhi, and Sheng Huai Nan. They are literally lacking in feelings, expressions, and sense. You could put a rock in their place, and it would be the same... It was very difficult not to skip scenes with them; it was almost awkward.

For Sheng Huai Nan, there is real growth at the end, where we are finally presented with a human with feelings and a personality... however, his choices are incomprehensible, and his story with his family is terribly mishandled.

ACTING

Honestly, I think the biggest problem with this drama is the acting. It's terribly bad. Thanks to Jiang Bai Li (Rain Shen), Zhang Ming Rui (Zhang Yi Chi), and Xu Ri Qing (Yuan Bai Zi Hui) for being good actors to raise the level. The rest of the actors have NO apparent emotions, and it's difficult to understand their reactions to an event sometimes... I have many examples, but it's enough to take the important scenes to understand.

I don't have much else to say about the performance delivered.

It's a shame that 80% of the drama focuses on Luo Zhi, who shows no emotions. She is aggressive and dry with most of the people around her. The contrast between Luo Zhi's entourage and herself is striking: Luo Zhi's entourage are better actors than she is, which makes her even more unbearable.

MUSIC

The same music throughout the drama, it's nice but always poorly implemented.

Rewatch value:

None.

Emotional Whirlwind: A Work of art, a drama that captivates us and makes us sad to see it end.

An adventure of this magnitude leaves an indelible mark. Looking forward to Season 2 becomes a difficult ordeal, so captivated were we by the exceptional quality of Season 1. "Sweet Home" promises a thrilling story, a fascinating universe and extraordinary acting.

STORY

The story unfolds without a hitch, the chronology impeccably orchestrated throughout the drama. No scene can be described as insignificant, as every moment in the world of "Sweet Home" is a delight to savor. The dialogue is carefully crafted, adding a captivating rhythm throughout the drama. The many twists and turns essential to the plot keep us on the edge of our seats every episode. What's more, the deep, intelligent writing of each character makes it easy for us to identify with them, as they are all remarkably realistic.

ACTING

The acting is breathtaking, leaving us speechless in the face of each actor's mastery (even the children, who are exceptional). Song Kang, Lee Si Young and Lee Jin Wook light up the screen with their powerful performances. In fact, all the actors are to be commended for their level of excellence. The drama wouldn't be as brilliant without their talent.

MUSIC

One of the drama's undoubted strengths is its music. Each musical appearance accompanies an event in such a special way that it sends shivers down our spines time and again. The sound designers have done an outstanding job of creating a unique atmosphere and ambience that blends in perfectly with the overall picture.

REVIEW VALUE

I highly recommend "Sweet Home" to everyone, and I'm sure I'll see it again and again myself. It's a true masterpiece that deserves to be rediscovered again and again.

A Flawless Masterpiece: A Drama that Evokes Every Emotion

It's difficult to describe the experience I had while watching this drama... it's up to you to discover the exceptional masterpiece that is Weak Hero Class.

STORY

The story is captivating, moving, and takes us through a rollercoaster of emotions. Each episode evokes a different feeling within me, whether it's passion, anxiety, anger, frustration, or something else entirely. The plot is brilliantly woven and meticulously crafted, to the point where I wished the drama would last even longer. The writing talent is truly remarkable! The characters are wonderfully described, each with their own distinct traits. This drama is filled with life lessons and biting critiques of contemporary society. Personally, I found it to be a fantastic experience, as it showcases an incredibly nuanced narrative work.

ACTING

What can I say about the acting other than it is exceptional? The main actors are fantastic. Their performances sent shivers down my spine on multiple occasions. It's as if they truly embody their characters in real life. Their gaze, facial expressions, gestures—every aspect of their physicality is executed with such precision that you believe in the authenticity of their characters. It's simply IMPRESSIVE. Wow... a true revelation!

MUSIC

The music, although slightly juxtaposed with the series, is incredibly well-executed. It brings a touch of freshness to a cruel and challenging universe. It's truly remarkable.

REWATACH VALUE

I have recommended this drama to everyone around me. It's a must-watch.

I also want to mention that the camera shots and technical execution are exceptional. Kudos to the team!

In conclusion, Weak Hero Class is a flawless masterpiece, an experience that stirs up every emotion and deserves to be discovered.

Congratulations to the team that worked on this remarkable drama.

A high quality drama

One of the best dramas I've ever watched.

The photography of the film is splendid: the colors, the saturation, the environment.

The script is good despite the fact that sometimes there are illogical elements. However, as a whole, you will be surprised by the twists!

I think the biggest strength of this drama is the acting. But what good actors and actresses! Two in particular caught my attention: Shin Seung Ho and Yoo Joon Sang are excellent. Obviously the others are all equally good.

I had found a weak point in this drama but it was removed very quickly: At first glance, the main character Mu Deok is sorely lacking in humanity. So the viewers have a hard time to share empathy for her but this is solved by the third episode.

Honestly, I don't understand how we can't enjoy this drama?

A Worthy Drama that deserves more recognition and praise

I would like to talk to you about an underrated drama that is simply delightful and refreshing. I watched it in just two evenings!

STORY

Although the plot is not very original, this drama is very pleasant to follow. Each episode leaves us eager to see the next one, and that's exactly what I did. The story is well told (from I hate you to I love you), the characters are sufficiently stereotyped without falling into clichés, and it makes watching the drama very enjoyable. I particularly liked the unique personality of each character, which allowed me to become attached to all of them. In addition, the interaction between the characters is very interesting, as most of them are interdependent.

However, the last two episodes are a little less successful than the first seven. The plot is less well developed and the justifications for the disputes are sometimes absurd and awkward. Too bad! But overall, the story is good.

ACTING

All the actors are excellent and transported me into the story. I shared moments of joy and sadness with them. I would like to particularly mention the performances of Yamashita Coki (Onodera Takara), Tsuna Keito (Furumachi Yukiya), and Uchida Yuki (Kousaka Sumire) who were really remarkable in their roles. Although the character of Nakamachi Asuka was a bit too cliché and fictional, the actress did an admirable job. The past of Nakamachi Asuka was not very well written, but it did not detract from the quality of the actress's performance.

MUSIC

The music was very successful and I even added some songs to my Spotify playlist. Really nice!

REWATCH VALUE

I don't think the last two episodes are successful enough to make me want to re-watch the drama. But it's a very pleasant experience to live through once!

People who didn't like it, just didn't understand the story. It's just as great as season 1

I would start by saying that Alchemy of Souls season 2 has the same elements as season 1. If you liked the first season, you will like this in the second:
- the humour
- the photography
- the acting (better than in the first season)
- the environment, the setting
- the epic scenes (less but better than in season 1)
- the friendships, romances and arguments

I honestly think that the people who left bad reviews just didn't understand the story.
Two souls confront each other in the same body, one of which is better than the other (hence the fact that it's not the naksu we were introduced to in season 1, she can't be entirely herself). And you seem to have forgotten at the end of season 1, how tender she was with her husband.

Also, I've read that some people find this season "mysoginous" which is absolutely not true!
I think you forgot all the female characters who play a CRUCIAL ROLE in the story :
- Kim Do Ju: She has the most impact on Jang Uk's decisions. Without her, he would never have made so many good decisions.
- So Yi: She is really bad-ass. Luckily she is there to give real information!!!!! Without her, there was no sequel after episode 5.
- Naksu: I won't say more for spoilers but without her, the world would fall apart.
- Jin Bu Yeon: main character, one of the most powerful. Same as Naksu, without her the world will end.
- Jin Ho Kyung: Charismatic character that everyone fears. I won't develop more for fear of spoilers.
..so please, there is no point in using such words

My feeling about this season:

I lost hours of sleep again because I love this show. The story and setting are gripping. Still as good as the first season.
Not to mention the acting is really better than the first season.
Let the story carry you along, it's great.

Only negative element:
Yes, there are a couple of inconsistencies, but frankly, it's not a big deal.

An excellent drama that suffers from excessive length

I was truly captivated by the early episodes of the drama, to the point where I would have given it a solid 8.5 out of 10. However, as I progressed, my rating decreased due to the quality of the last five episodes.

I felt a sense of guilt when I resorted to watching the final episodes at 1.5x speed.

STORY

Initially (episodes 1 to 8), the story was remarkably well-paced, narrated, and executed. It immersed me in this whimsical universe through a good balance of narration, humor, and light-heartedness. The narrative alternation encouraged me to invest in the drama and follow the adventures of the main characters.

However (episodes 9 to 12), the pacing became confusing. There were long moments of repetitive dialogues that added nothing to the story. Nevertheless, I held on due to the excellence of the first eight episodes.

Then (episodes 12 to 16), it was a disaster. The episodes lacked a solid narrative structure, the dialogues dragged unnecessarily, and the camera shots were excessively long to fill an episode. Definitely something to avoid.

ACTING

Undoubtedly, the strength of this drama lies in the acting performances, as all the actors are excellent. Honestly, Kim Yoo Jung's acting skills are so impressive that she compels us to follow her character's journey despite the weak moments in the script. Thanks to her, I managed to complete the drama. She effortlessly conveys a range of emotions, and we understand everything she feels. She is an impressive actress, and I will make sure to watch the dramas she has been a part of.

MUSIC

Nothing exceptional, but the main song is effective and complements the key moments well. It's satisfying.

REWATCH VALUE

I would say yes to rewatching the first eight episodes, but a definite no to the latter ones, which were truly disappointing and off-topic.

CONCLUSION

In conclusion, I would have liked to say much more about this drama, but the second half was a letdown. Still worth watching for the enjoyment factor!

A good romance drama that does its job !

I have heard a lot of good things about this drama and I was delighted to find that my expectations were largely met. Although the beginning of the series was a bit long and poorly executed, I ended up getting attached to the four main characters, especially the supporting characters. As the story of each character unfolds, we become more and more attached to them. However, I found it unfortunate that the story of the main character Shin Ha Ri was not developed enough, which had an impact on my attachment to her character.

Nonetheless, I was impressed by the evolution of Kang Tae Moo's character, which was brilliantly executed. The series allows us to understand why he was initially a cold and emotionless character, which made his evolution all the more satisfying.

The supporting characters are also remarkable and have helped raise the level of the series from a 7/10 to an 8/10 easily. The actors are excellent and their stories are captivating. I was even more invested in their story than in that of the main characters.

The production of the series is remarkable, the music is particularly successful and I even added some of its songs to my Spotify playlist.

Overall, it's a good romance drama that does its job!

Without being too heavy, this series allows for a mental break for a relaxing evening

If you're looking for a series that can entertain you without taking up too much mental space, this one is definitely a solid choice for a relaxing evening.

It's not the ultimate drama, but it's definitely a good experience. I agree that there are flaws, but honestly, it's just a drama to watch in chill mode. I really enjoyed the story, even though it dragged on towards the end. The music is beautiful, and the actors are pretty good. There are some beautiful shots of the ocean, the couple, and the city.
The drama is based on romance, and personally, it's perfect for a relaxing night on the couch. If you don't know what to watch after finishing a long and gripping drama, you can definitely check this one out. It's nice, but not exceptional.

This drama is a real surprise, it really went from a 4/10 to an 7.5/10 in a very short time.

At first, I really didn't like the drama. It was long, you didn't get attached to the characters (they were borderline annoying) but as it went on (even if it's too long), you start to get attached to the story, the characters and the context.
I find that from a certain point on, the drama takes on a whole new look and promotes real values: self-acceptance, acceptance of others' views, feminism.
It really touched me and I recognized myself in each of the characters (even the most annoying ones).
This drama is a real surprise, it really went from a 4/10 to an 7.5/10 in a very short time.
There are still a lot of long moments... but in the end, it's nice and quite well written.
I recommend it, it's nice.

A nice zombie drama but nothing more

I heard a lot about "All of us are dead" and my expectations were indeed in the drama. However, I think it's not a memorable drama: it was nice to watch, there was some suspense, some gore but the story is really very (too?) basic.
I would even say that there are quite a few inconsistencies in the writing... but that's not disturbing since it's not meant to be a deep drama and known for being intelligently written.

What I liked:
- The suspense left in each episode: very good endings each time that make you want to know what happens next.
- The special effects: zombies, sets, make-up, framing, editing.
- The fact that we get to know the different characters as they are really in danger.
- Being able to skip the long, uninteresting scenes and still understand the drama without being lost.

What I didn't like:
- The fact that we don't feel any sympathy for the characters who have been harassed and that they are the real black beasts: why?
- Moments in the script that don't make sense: characters who take actions for nothing and the show tries to justify it but it's not coherent. Many questions that remain unanswered and yet are central to the drama? The explanations of the origin of the virus and its evolution given by the scientist are vague, incoherent and really, we have the impression to be taken for fools.
- We follow several people at the same time, some of whom have no interest whatsoever? We focus 3 halves of the episode on characters who don't exist anymore right after and yet, they don't die... they are just erased from the scenario?
- Unnecessary scenes too long

To sum up, watchable and enjoyable but don't expect it to be the drama of the century as some people say! Have fun!

It's extremely difficult to rate this drama.

Strong points that I loved:

- Good actors (all of them.)
- The FX are magnificent
- Colours, contrasts, saturation: the photography of the film
- The costumes
- The moral: you have to keep dreaming even when if you are an adult
- The objective: to denounce school bullying

Weaknesses

- Sometimes a bit long for really futile things
- The ending is a bit too open for my taste and doesn't explain a quarter of the drama.

Good drama but not the best.
