despite machida's weird hairstyle, this drama is really heartwarming and sweet. The acting is also really good. The kids are actually really cute and not annoying. I initially watched this because of machida but kiyohara's performance here is really capitivating. I'm looking forward for her future projects!
I love the way food/cooking was used as a means of communication. It was so interesting to observe all those situation that involved food. The second oldest daughter's character is so well-written. The distance between her dad and her was portrayed so well. I loved the way their relationship developed throughout the movie. available on MUBI (France region atm)
So I just watched the first episode and it's luckily not like She was Pretty (K-Drama). There are some common tropes but Suzuki Nami and Junnosuke are quite fun together. I want see more of Mamiya tho!! Nanao has such an incredible screen presence, I'm fascinated by her
This drama is super simple and cute. There isn’t a lot of depth to this drama, it’s very surface level. Don’t…
I actually watched this drama mainly bc of him :D I think you might enjoy Sixteen Shoukougun where he is also the ML. Irozuku subbed that one as well. It's also a quick watch
I like to think of this like junk food? Enjoyable but no nutritional value what so ever :P
Oh I am also happy about no love triangles! I actually thought that the other male characters are somehow useless lol the ex-girlfriend had some kind purpose but the other dudes are simply plot devices XD I wasn't looking for drama but just more depth. This is not a 10 in my book but that's just me lol I get the appeal of it tho
I don't know how I feel about this drama. It's almost too sweet and cheesy lol In my opinion it lacks some depth. They do touch upon serious topics but those issues seem to be always magically solved. I appreciate that they talk but it feels almost too good to be true? I think marrying someone so fast should cause more conflicts? I guess I get that this drama is more on the fluffy side, but I would have been ok with moments where they discover habits etc. they dislike or a hobby/interest/unexpected side of the person they married
