tan xuanlin is such a mature man despite him being all playful and “indecent”. the way he’s giving her many chances to have romantic moments with xu guangyao because he believes she’s in love with him says a lot about his character. instead of being childish and wishing the worst for xu guangyao, he’s trying to make them a couple and secretly protecting them/ loving her at the same time. i’m in love with his character, not toxic whatsoever (what you’d expect from narcissistic main characters)
