Commenting as a person who didnt have any background information on this story and never read any of the novels…
To me Deok im's reluctant to accept the king is totally reasonable, is not that she doesnt love him, she just didnt want to tie her fate down and she has much more courage to do so unlike the Queen Dowager. Because until the last scene. i could feel the loneliness and helplessness of the queen dowager when 1 by 1 the people whom she cherish leaves her.
It was a good drama even for me who doesnt watch drama with sad endings/bittersweet but i gave it a try due to the hype. Im not disappointed at all. The entire cast did a very good job!
Commenting as a person who didnt have any background information on this story and never read any of the novels or history, I cannot say that I totally enjoyed the story (becuz its a really sad fate for our leading casts), but I would rather say that I enjoyed how the casts acts in the drama and the emotions they delivered in here.
super cute drama and casts! feels like a mother smiling at their kids while i was watching it xDDD Its a light and relaxing school drama. But its too pure for me xDDD i feel like im watching middle school kids rather than high school kids. but cant blame them, these kids really do look young.
honestly not much story abt him...he didnt really appear for a few eps(after he transferred school) until the last 2. the drama wasn't focused on him much but whatever happen in the earlier eps, just be spoiled that there is a plot twist in the end, he didnt do whatever Aejin thought.
only 1 word to describe this drama! "WOW!!" The initial eps was dark...you would really think "dang, why so many psycho in this drama, this isnt what i expected" but it got better and better. I think the casts all did an excellent job esp the FL, her acting was so good, her psychotic acting was chilling! I honestly watched this because of Bomin, but he did a good job too!! It's so diff from the acting in his prev dramas.
judging from the trailer..looks like gna have a lot of conflict between the leads TT.TT OMgeee..why the writer do this to us TT.TT i was looking forward to the new sequel since we also had quite a number of conflict between the leads in the previous season.
The 1st story was ok for me...but the best part was the 2nd and 3rd story~ Ep 5 & ep 7 got me crying my eyes out TT.TT 2nd cpl was really sweet, i was expecting more but at least they got 3 eps yay! the 3rd story, i really empathies with na eun TT.TT but she was so brave!! You go girl! and her imagination was pretty funny too xDD kinda wish there is a season 2, i need more after storyy!! anyone actually understands what the 3rd story ending meant?
Side note, i think Ji beom looks like Lee Jong suk @_@
'so excited to see this drama being aired but realized its only 1 per week TT.TT looks like i have to wait for another 3 months b4 i can start watching.
i like it esp Saeboom and yihyun!! Although there was not much romance (duh, obviously it wasnt really a romance genre) so i watched it with no expectation on the romance but I think it was moderately display throughout the drama and I have absolutely no prob with it(thank you to the writer for adding a little bit of skinshop at the last 2 eps, yay! ) ^_^ True enough, there was some plot holes and many stories feels underdeveloped, but its only 12 eps, it's limited. other than that, all was good for me at least.
so sad its over TT.TT definitely could have shorten it a little but as it got s bit draggy towards the end, but I love the ending!! Park eunbin is so good at acting ~ <33
one of the better well-made drama of the year!! Love the chemistry between the leads and the brotherly/sisterly relationships between the casts(although they were at loggerheads in the beginning). The FL is so prettyyy and she is so smart and rational. The ML is so intelligent as well but when it comes to FL he can be a little out of mind but all is well because at least he didnt 'snap' to the point of no return.
great casts, great couple, healthy relationships between main leads. But the drama went downhill after ep 21. Suddenly it became so 'bland'. The last 2 eps was disappointing and so was the ending. For a 30eps drama, i was expecting more towards the end, but they just had to tie up loose ends in a rush and insert 'drama' nearing the end which they could have done it way earlier so that there will be buffer time to tie up the story. Not totally bad to watch but could be better.
side note, i do feel more comfortable with Zhangyuxi in this drama compared to her other dramas(probably cuz her character was more mature). And the ML, i totally prefer him in modern drama compared to historical.
My first thought after watching --> already toned-down lakorn xDDD first 6 eps was a little heavy with the romance…
i thought it was such a pity they that lita's mum didnt survive because I thought it would be better if they let her atone her sins rather than just letting her passed.

side note, wished the ending was longer ~ was expecting more interaction between the couples but oh wells~ it could be better this way.
