Just watched ep 1 - fun to watch and both leads are good actors.FL was the main lead in What Comes After Love.…
Nakamura Anne is a lovely actress and I'm currently watching this series too. The FL in What Comes After Love is Lee Se Young. Nakamura Anne was the 2nd FL
I started this series when it was airing but for some reason I was stuck at ep 18 where they went away, maybe that the FL kept rejecting the ML first kiss lol. I started watching again and only to find out FL finally gave in and they kissed. Only if I had kept watching but what I am enjoying now is finishing the series on Christmas Day and I absolutely love it. A whole lot of kissing scenes and lots of cooking. I really am enjoying the last few epsisodes left. At Ep 31 now.
After 8 Episodes, I am still glued to this Drama series, so freaking good! It's addictive and never a dull moment. Baek Sa Eon lines to Hee Joo are so magnificent, that I had to rewind multiple times. Then the OST hits right after, I am obsessed lol.
The office scene with Kang Yeong U (Baek Sa Eon Asst) when he received the call from the grandpa and bringing the note to him had me laughing alot. It was a revenge lol. In a previous Ep Park Do Jaethe (the other Asst) did the same thing closing the window lol.
I don't think it's an American thing. The manga came out in the 90's at a time when these types of storylines…
The original Boys Over Flowers is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yoko Kamio titled Hana Yori Dango released in 1993 on CDs, then followed by the Movie Hana Yori Dango in 1995. Tiawan is not the original, they just adopted it into a series after the manga & movie from Japan. You can read the history about it on Wiki. The Ancestor of this story is owned by Japanese. No matter if Tiawan made it into a drama series after the Movie, the main factor is that the Creator and original of this story belongs to Japan.
I just love the beautiful profile view of Ren lol. I care less about anything else as I know how the story goes. It should be longer but maybe that is why I'm enjoying it so much.
The series started 3 weeks ago on Nov 22nd with Episode 1 & 2. followed by Ep 3 & 4 that aired 2 weeks ago Nov 29th & 30th. So it's 2 weeks ago it last aired.

I went to check out your profile and I read through what you wrote in RED and I didn't know what to think that made you had to do that. I saw your review ratings and could not believe anyone would give a ratings at 1. I work in the Film & TV industry and appreciate the entire process. You had 15 reviews and non were perfect 10. I kinda understand what kind of a viewer you are. I watched "I Told Sunset About You" and my ratings were the same from then until now. You dropped the ratings after 3 yrs even when you enjoyed it. I don't understand why anyone would do that. Your viewpoint is complicated and watching dramas or movies you love should be enjoyable, and not negative or feeling depressing.
It doesn't matter how many years you are watching K & J dramas to think you understand their system and why some of their Dramas aired longer than some. I think you need to take a trip to SK & Japan to really see how their economy is runned and feel the energy of their people and to be precise, the writers' concept is depicted from what happens in real life and they mix it with some fiction. I also went to Japan and it is the same thing, their Movies and Dramas are made by how their people are in real life and of course everyone dreams and imagine things and make ficticious stories most of us will enjoy.
BTW! I was not off the mark. You just don't see and enjoy dramas in the most positive ways. you start by being critical and that may be why you will never enjoy Dramas and glorify the hard work they put in to entertain us. I apreciate what I watch or I will drop it if I am not finding any enjoyment in it. But what I will never degrade hard work because of personal taste. Also I have been watching ASIAN DRAMAS from 2001 on CDs and DVDS. I also recall watching Stairway to Heaven back in 2003/2004 but i did not really get into K-Dramas until watching Princess Hours in 2006, Coffee Prince in 2007 and Boys Over Flowers in 2009 that got me hooked to KDramas to this date.
Also... If you post something on MDL Drama Series or an Actor Profile that most would find it controversial, you will receive responses that may not be tasteful to you, but to each their own.
Not particularly excited by the budget... Dropped the King: Eternal Monarch definitely after having tried to watch…
I just got back from Seoul, South Korea and got to watch multiple TV series while they aired there. It is a big deal to the Nation and they watch these series as it aired so the bigger the budget, they get a good spot in peak hours to air it while most Koreans are at home and settled in to watch it, while we watch this after from the west in translation. I also saw many Koreans watch TV series on the trains, buses and even while they are walking. It may be enjoyable with the longer time but I get what you mean. But the nation ratings is a big deal there. at current "When The Phone Rings" is #1 in South Korea.
If you had given King: Eternal Monarch the time and understood the story of the two parallel worlds, then maybe you would have enjoyed it. When I started to watch that same series, I was confused and then I rewatched the episodes as they aired and then i finally got it. It was enjoyable, I saw many series got inspired by this same concept after. Lee Min Ho series are an inspiration to me. Sorry his drama series did not do much for you since City Hunter. "When The Stars Gossip" looks promising. I will for sure enjoy it as Lee Min Ho is my favorite Korean Actor.

He is a remarkable actor you cannot forget.

that belongs to Hong Hee Joo".
