I started this drama without expecting much, of course at first the female lead actively chasing after the male lead was really embarrassing to watch up till the point that I understood that it was from deep admiration of his commitment and dedication to his job to saving lives as a doctor. The male lead being very cold at first was disheartening to watch until he gradually began to melt and like his unrelenting nurse Female lead who proved that she only had eyes for him and no other man whether he was good or bad until he felt unworthy of her love and devotion .
I liked that at the end he was also concerned about her career growth and development above his feelings, this made me really like his character plus he was hella building that chemistry with his girl once he fell for her.
There wasn’t any crazy love triangle or family intrusion in this drama . Just simple and straightforward 10 episodes of them growing to fall deeper in love .
As basic as the story line was, I would watch it again and again because it brings such good feelings.

Well laid out intriguing story line, pay attention From episode 1

Started this drama without much expectation of it being better than Goblin and i wasn't disappointed at all, its actally totally different and better, The story wasn't told the typical kdrama way, so a lot of patience is needed for unveiling its sci/fi plot plot hence its not predictive , also the romance in this drama isn't your regular girl runs foolishly after a boy for 75% of its episodes, no its pretty straight forward and matured and certainly realistic in line with the characterization of the leads, above all you will experience the most amazing chemistry ever seen in kdrama land with pure sincere romance , the story progressed with a chemistry jackpot as i have never ever seen two kdrama characters so comfortable with each other as the leads of this drama by episodes 15 .

Please do not drop this drama because of some silly unsubstantiated reviews from people who had already decided to review this drama negatively because their favorite actress wasn't paired with Lee Min ho and the fact that Lee min ho was going to become more popular than their favorite internationally , their backlash and anger started upon the news of the pairing and worsened when they were shocked at how well the two leads synced with each other as the episodes progressed, these outrageous people complained about everything plus typical product placements like the drama is supposed to fund itself and they are sorely dissapointed that despite their back lash the drama retained its spot and yet they didnt drop it,that tells you how amazing and addictive this drama is and of course it has retained number 1 position in so many countries on netflix and its been number 1 on wavee a streaming platform which like Netflix in south korea, people actually prefer to watch on this platforms than via the national tv called SBS so as to rewatch it again. This drama is the only drama that is now on number 6 most watched shows on netflix in the world, and its a drama in korean language, that speaks for itself.

Re watch value is 10/10 if you loved it once you will always go back to find more clues of what you may have missed.

The story is centered around a protagonist Lee min Ho a king in the Kingdom of Corea, who is trying to restore balance that his antagonist uncle disrupted by committing treason to steal a wooden flute that has mysterious powers, he was almost murdered on the night of the treason and he was saved by someone who left an ID card of a Lieutenant played by Kim Go eun , he held on to this ID for 25 years waiting to meet his savior only to find himself mysteriously led by the flute through a maze to Republic of Korea where he meets the woman who is supposed to be his savior and falls instantly for her and she thought he was nuts because he was rambling on about how he was a king.

The story progressed deeper as we understand in a time loop by episode 15 why the king had Tae eul ID card all his life and why she fell so fast for him and how their long distance relationship across parallel universe became a sad love story for them so they always have to live in the moment when they get to see each other, and Gosh their chemistry together is sizzling as their hugs and stares alone burns the screen not to talk of the beheading kiss, this is one drama that delivers real romance progression, from being shy and awkward and blushing to plenty of clingy skinship and you will certainly think you are watching real life romance oncsreen, there stares, tears an longing gazes will tug at your heart.

Waiting for the final episode this Friday and i sincerely hope everyone gets their happy ending because the millions of this fans of this drama are clearly going to revolt as i have never seen a drama where people are so heavily invested in as The King Eternal Monarch

The story is crazy but you will find yourself watching till the end anyways

This drama as with a lot of Chinese dramas will give you a slow burn and drain you just the way the characters are drained, but you will likely not drop it when you start because you want to see what happened to them eventually.

It’s basically started with a family bond story between siblings Liangsheng and Jiansheng From episodes 1-3 and love story between Jiangsheng and Tianyou from Episode 4 and the trio eventually finding themselves in a love triangle as the plot of the story begins to thicken.

Jiangsheng and Liangsheng grew up together as siblings and JS grew up to love her brother so much because he always sacrificed so much to make her happy hence creating an unforgettable childhood memory which made her forget how unfair her father treated her, so he wasn’t only a brother but he became Iike a father to her, he became her entire world when their parents died.

Liangsheng on the other hand joined their family as a traumatic Kid but his sister as little as she was did all she could to make him feel warmth and love so they both basically made their childhood beautiful together and shared a strong bond that had a blurred line between familial and romantic.

When they entered college Jiangsheng met an older guy called Tianyou a rich heir of the cheng family, he became interested in her after series of her ‘fateful’ encounters and gradually was drawn to her and became her friend, as time progressed he found out that she is the sister of the son of his aunt that he had been trying to find for several years for his grandpa in a very unfortunate incident that led to so much misunderstand that later separated them and caused so much emotional distress to all parties.

Tianyou again eventually reconciled with JS after so many years because he never forgot her and their romance started blooming , he loved her selflessly and did all he could to make her happy because of her brother Liangsheng situation , he did all he could but Jiangsheng still yearned and wanted her brother and couldn’t let go of the past, Tianyou ended up being heartbroken and almost lost his life just about when Jiangsheng Was finally able to differentiate the feeling she had for her brother was just familial love and not the the romantic type she felt for Tainyou and they ended up being separated for a long time because Tainyou became temporarily blind.

The drama keeps going on in the usual spiraling in its crazy influx of events and conspiracies to keep them apart till all parties were able to sort out their feelings.

My own evaluation based on their acting is that I am happy she is a ended with Tianyou than her brother Liangsheng who I feel loved her as a deep sense of responsibility and obligation and not passionately or as a priority in his heart because he was always distracted with weiyang and never set boundaries for her even after he knew he loved his sister, I don’t blame him for also not telling his sister her recovered his memories but the sister found it hard to forgive him for making her go through so much pain looking for him when all along he could remember .

Tianyou was clear about his actions and show of passion and love and didn’t waver that he wanted to be with her despite the huge gap and his family being against their union, he was willing to give up everything to be with her and he eventually dropped it all and left with her and even during their enforced separation when he became blind, the moment he met her in Paris as Ardou , it was still her and always her and no distraction in his heart towards other women especially Ningzin who has hoped for years he would finally see her .

Jiangsheng acted well to show she wasn’t into her brother romantically despite how much she yearned for him , he was and will always be her brother and in the end she knew the difference in the kind of love both men had for her and chose Tianyou.

Finally , Jiangsheng greatest character development was being able to finally walk away from the brotherly love shackle of LS and make her own decisions on whom to love whole fully in the future.

Because there is not comprehensive review of this heartrenching emotional drama about exteme case of true love between an Army General and the daughter of a wealthy merchant that turned their life into complete shambles and being plagued by the revenge from the unrequited love of the second leads and being torn between making the best decision for ones country and keeping the promise made to the one you love.

Epi 1-11 -MuRong Pel In is the son of the army general supervising 6 provinces also known as the fourth master was on his way back from studying in Russia after hearing news of his father’s assassination, on his train ride back enemies of his father were searching for him in on the train so that he will killed and not take over his fathers place and he found himself hiding in the cabin of Jin Wan the daughter or a wealthy merchants who was on her way back from Russia, she helped him disguise and saved him from the soldiers the generals sent to kill him, they escaped alive together and he gave her his singing pocket watch which had his name engraved on it when they parted ways.

Pel in got home with barely enough time to mourn had fill into his fathers shoes and bring to justice against those who assassinated his father, while Jin Wan returns home and was betrothed to the son of their childhood family friend named Jiang Zhang,

Jiang Zhang is a merchant caught secretly importing Ammunitions for the general who killed Pel in’s father and Jin wan left their province Wuchi to chengzhou with the pocket watch hoping that it’s the same Pel in who has now become the commander of the forces to help save her fiancée, she finds its really him and seeks his help For Jiang Zhang release which made her pretend that Pel in was totally besotted to her and failing in his duties so the generals would think he is slacking off while they catch them unexpectedly, while completing this task, her fiancée Jiang Zhang was finally released and instead of leaving for Wuchi she took a gunshot for Pel in whose life was in danger and became more entangled with him beyond their disguise which further created rousing suspicion that Pel in has indeed fallen in love with her during their pretense charade because he nursed her back to health in his personal chamber while she was healing from the gunshot wound, this act set off jealousy in Jin xhi , who was Pel in childhood friend who is been waiting for him to show her affection and expected to naturally be his wife.

Jiang Zhang abandoned Jin wan in anger and went home over the excessive attention she given to her from Pel in, who later confessed his true feeling to Jin wan who later turns down the love advances And brother zoned him and returns home conflicted in emotions with her father.

Jiang Zhang family was in the verge of bankruptcy due to his arrest and his grandmother convinced him to beg Jin wan and seek her hand in marriage to save their family from shame.
Pel in however was heart broken over Jin wan rejection and threw himself into the battlefront during the war after rejecting love advances from Jin zhi and sister zoning her.

Ep 12-23 - Jin wan arrived home to a hurried proposal of marriage from Jiang Zhang, though conflicted about the arranged marriage , Jin wan went along with the preparation half heartedly to please her family until Pel in left the war front distraught after seeing the news of her marriage to beg her to reconsider his feelings for her and marry him. Jin wan eventually abandoned Jiang Zhang on the day of their wedding to look for Pel in the battle front with the help of his childhood friend zin zhi

Pel in and Jin wan are reunited happily and declared love for each other unofficially married in the war front while they lived happily and winning more provinces during the war, Pel in was a happier and more confident leader and the news of their pair was published on the papers , Jin wan’s father disowned her for bringing shame to the family but Pel in brought comfort and strength to her with so much love and devotion and more dedication to his people but Jiang Zhang became a drunkard because of being abandoned and became bankrupt and ridiculed in the society, After conquering Wuchi and seeing that their union brought others pain, they decided to help and seek for forgiveness hence Pel in decided to help Jiqng Zhang but he betrayed Pel in to his enemies because of revenge plan , this event led to the army being in severe trouble that forced Pel in a corner to accept a deceptive help that led to a marriage proposal from Jin xhi in exchange for their troops to save the Wuchi, He reluctantly agreed and. sent Jin wan to France temporally not knowing Jin xhi had gone ahead to publicly annul his wedding to Jin wan thereby publicly embarrassing Jin wan.

Ep 23-36 - Jin wan on her way to France found out through Jiang Zhang that Pel in has annulled their marriage, she stopped her trip and went angrily to Pel in and threatened to kill herself and die and also kill his child, once Pel in found out she was pregnant, he locked her up to avoid her running away from him or killing her self, this obsessive and possessive action made Jin wan resent especially since he still followed through although reluctantly and married Jin xhi in exchange for the help he received, Jin wan ran away with the help of xin xhi but she ended up evening captured and miscarried her baby.

After being emotionally battered and abused she finally left Pel in and left for France with zin xhi who had been faithfully taking care of her.

Pel in however became more miserable in his marriage to Jin xhi and couldn’t rid himself of the guilt of betraying Jin wan ,his life and his newly acquired provinces and control gradually became meaningless as he longed deeply for Jin wan and was regretting the choice he made. Jin xhi did all she could to get his love but he Just couldn’t return her affection despite her changing and becoming more feminine.

Jin wan and zin xhi return after a few years and settled in Wuchi with Jin wan determined to seek forgiveness from her family no matter what it took; Jiang Zhang however regained his wealth and influence in Wuchi and decided to exploit Jin wan father by getting him drunk and transferring his assets to him, after Jin wan father forgave her, Jian Zhang became angry and wanted her to suffer and requested for her Hand in marriage again, but her father declined eventually after knowing Jiang Zhang real motives with the help of xin xhi , this infuriated Jiang Zhang further till he set Jin wan up for a crime which eventually made her father lost his life in exchange for hers. Jin wan rises up after a long mourning with a new determination to add value to her country despite all her losses in life and went back to chengzhou to work in a secret news paper agency which was propagating against the Japanese takeover of their territories.

Pel in having lost all hope in life of reuniting with Jin wan the one true love who gave him the happiest time of his life and having even lost her doppelgänger to death caused by Jin xhi couldn’t make a call to declare war against the Japanese troupes taunting him via Jiang Zhang as their ambassador, until one day he found Jin wan like a dream among a crowd of protesters and he forgot about everything and just wanted to run away with her to which Jin wan declined having met zin xhi earlier who claimed she was pregnant and deceitfully begged Jin wan not to come and destroy a happy family,

Pel was hopelessly dejected because Jin wan gave him the impression she was now romantically involved with his childhood friend and wife’s brother zin xhi. Jin xhi paid a prison warden to kill Jin wan after being arrested by an order from Pel in which Jin xhi took advantage of, zin xhi and Pel in came on time to rescue Jin wan from death, which ultimately led to them reuniting again in love with a promise never to separate . Pel in expressly asked for divorce from Jin xhi to finally be with Jin Wan even after knowing she was as pregnant with his child, he accepted to be the father but refused to be her husband and a family with her anymore.
Pel in Finally learnt how to love Jin wan selflessly and not possessively which led him to sneak her out of the war territory with the help of zin xhi and he proceeded to go to war gallantly.

Jian Zhang and Jin zhi became traitors to their country to the Japanese and sold out on army when Pel in finally declared war to take over their territory which led to the final war that made all of then lose everyone and everything as they all died and even Pel in was presumed dead. Jin wan woke up on the train ride out and ran back to chengzhou hat she will rather die with Pel in on the battle field than live without him but she was too late.

Finally 7 years after, Jin wan and zin xhi started a new life in Wuchi province and even made plans to marry each other when one day during a program broadcast of the aftermath of war a glimpse possibly of Pel in farming kicked off the hope she had of him being alive made her take a trip to look for him, on the way she saw Jiang Zhang who was being hunted down and finally got his nemesis as he was killed, she set out to look for Pel in who she found fishing with no memory of her Anymore other than his continued love for her orchids and him growing a green house to tend to his numerous plants and orchids like he did in the past as a habit when she left him , while speaking to her he said he doesn’t know how he formed the habit but he just has a feeling to keep tending to them, Jin wan being disappointed started to walked away disappointed that he now sees her as a stranger unknowingly dropped the pocket watch which had Pel in name engraved on it which began to make its usual sound that eventually triggered Pel in’s memory and he ran after her to reunite. END OF DRAMA

My final take on the drama.

For such a drama that has us drowned in tears most of its episodes, the final happy ending was just too short, we should have seen them live at least 30 mins of the average life in that farm house together and happy with their amazing chemistry. The scenes of them being happy together was really passionate and steaming, Pel in showed us he desired and wanted to devour and possess Jin wan most of the time., so they should have given a slightly longer happy ending story line for us to ease all that sadness.

Zin xhi wasted his almost all life following and loving Jin wan to ensure she is safe and happy and he never got a happy ending or a glimpse of hope for a revived career or love for someone so dedicated and selfless to the leads.

Jiang Zhang punishment of a gunshot seems rushed and confusing as we don’t know why he was being hunted, he should have been hung on his skin for treason and made to die a slow and painful death while reflecting on how he shouldn’t have taken revenge as an option, likewise Jin zhi, her penance time was too short to pass any deep message to make anyone learn, she took the easy way out of dying with Pel in on the battle field after losing her father and child.

This drama is so real and so good that anyone planning on getting married should watch just to checklist their partners, the story was well written and acted that it leaves an indelible mark and has a rewatch value of 100/10 ?.

Kehuan and Weiwei met each other thrice in one day during which time he needed to return a journal she had forgotten in a taxi to her and he became intrigued/attracted to her and wanted to ask questions as to why she had a clear cut life plan and how possible it was for her to live based on the what she wrote in the journal only to find out she was living according to her boyfriends life plan, him also being in the same type of relationship questioned why she lives her life according to someone else life plan, this opened Weiwei eyes to the flaws in her relationship and she started getting swayed because she was also strongly attracted to kechuan.

This drama was a beautiful roller coaster journey of the two main people coming out of bad relationships that seems to be good and finding themselves to able to love each other freely without the feeling of the weight of being burdened .

What I love about this drama more than the story was the lead chemistry that was so real, the sexual energy was there with the right intensity from the start till the finish, when they get together sparks fly everywhere with kechaun knowing for sure it was love more than attraction as he started to care about her more and more and Weiwei holding out because of her commitment to her relationship.

Glad they broke up with their respective partners and finally burned out that passion on my screen in the final episode ? and then took a new path in their life without the weight of the past and them came back together in a clean slate ? and special kudos to kechaun who took that bold step not caring about the consequences or that he may lose his job immediately he realized he couldn't go on with the farce of a relationship with Ziyauan, she was crazily unbearable , she would have been the perfect match to deal with weiwei's ex haoyi. .

This drama is basically about people around the leads coming into acceptance of a Older lady - younger guy / older guy - younger lady romance .

Major romance is centered around two 32 year old twins. The female lead called fang zin and her twin brother cang yang both falling in love with younger lovers with over 10 year age and how they were able to make the love work despite the the societal pressure from friends , family, neighbors and colleagues.

The male lead was obviously very young and because he looked really young his love for the female lead looked more like a lingering crush, although he did well with romance and skin-ship scenes, they were able to obviously portray that they preferred romance was with him and not luming which is why most viewers will concede to song yuan, however Luming was Obviously realistically capable and older.

The female lead was a bit lacking in character portrayal , she was meant to be an extremely efficient business administrator and acted in that capacity at work, but her trying to speak like she is an idiot in the name of acting cute will probably grate on your nerves, acting innocent and speaking cute was absolutely unnecessary for her age and in trying to make it look like she is new at love , given that song yuan didn’t like his female age mates at school for the same reason.

Canyang the leads make twin brother also really stole the show as he was a really funny character and I don’t think you can get through this drama without his character and that of the energetic and crafty Luming.

This drama had no devious and evil parents against their relationship. All the couple problems were self inflicted because they didn’t act brave for the love they believed in.

I want to see more of characters like canyang and Luming in cdramas, they brought so much comedy and life to their acting that made me finish 41 episodes else I would have dropped this drama because of the cute way Fanxing started trying to speak when she started her relationship with Song Yuan, it really dropped her character value to the regular stupid Typical female leads

After watching Wallace Chung in all out of love and too late to say I love you and enjoying his on screen charisma and ability to draw our chemistry with his female leads with even the worst story line I decided to watch more of his dramas.

You are my sunshine is a fairly simple feel good drama, the love story starts from college days between the young couple and here the female leads chases after the male lead in a kinda cute way until he fell for her, his jealous half sister decided to come between them and told mo Sheng that she is in love with her brother Yi Shen and when mo Sheng wanted to clarify, Yi chen angrily told her to stay away from him because of her father’s proposition to him and she assuming that he broke up with her decided to leave for USA where other events eventually led her to stay for the next 7 years .

Yi chen became broken hearted, finished school and became successful but he kept hoping his Mo Sheng would return back to him and he kept waiting Until one day 7 years after when he was almost going to look for her in USA before giving up, he sees her again back in shanghai, he was initially angry at her and eventually seeking her out with the excuse of a law suit from her friend, he finally found out she had gotten married for 3 years in USA which further broke his heart and he refused to hear Mo Sheng side of the story even after she told him she he also divorced, then Yi chen suddenly decided to get married to Mo Sheng and they went to register their marriage and started living together but with a strained relationship.

Mo Sheng ex fake husband suddenly realized that he lost a good potential wife and since he didn’t finish his divorce proceeding decided to go and win Mo Sheng back as his real wife and he used all manner of schemes to make Yi chen give up on Mo Sheng but Yi chen wasn’t ready to let go but instead started getting closer to Mo Sheng until he began to trust her completely again.

He eventually solved all the problematic hurdles and got married to Mosheng and they have a son

Xiao Xiao and Yi Feng also had a lovely relationship in this drama

And everyone basically got a happy ending. Al cast chemistry was really good

This is nice and simple drama with fluffy and cheesy romance. The main leads were cute and adorable but i find their drunken scenes too hard to believe and a bit excessive.
When the second male lead hearts was broken, i felt really bad for him because it was clear she jumped onto him at the feeling of a crush.
the others side stories were heart warming. but the scene with the lady that had cancer was unnecessarily dragged, she should have settled with her husband when she was sick so we could have have a happily married couple vibe for most of the show.
the curly hair lady falls in love so easily and gets heartbroken so fast.
basically in love the second time around you meed to be sure of the right emotions before jumping in

This drama will now be one of my favorites as it contains all the elements I love in a drama, it’s a dramatic drama with the right amount of craziness, chemistry and anger that I like that leads the way to a happy ending, plus the most adorable kid actor I have ever seen in a drama.

The story starts with how a young girl called
Mu Cheng becoming an orphan and had to live with her former fathers wife boyfriend as they were rendered bankrupt, her step mothers boyfriend staring developing sexual interest in her as she grew older and made her start feeling uncomfortable in the Sheng university quarters they lived , she tries in every way to avoid him as she they all work in the canteen that serves students food along with her aunt at the Sheng university.

Ren guan xi is a troublesome law student whose family owned and managed the Sheng university for, he remembered his father dying of suicide while young and concludes his mother made his dad die and resents his mum and always caused trouble for he to fix, he met mu cheng while he was causing trouble as always and finds out after making a bet with his friends that she is the only girl that has proved herself unavailable to the boys at Sheng university as she never gives them attention or a number, he decides to follow through the bet to make her kiss him in less than 24 hours , he forces her on a date threatening her that he would report her friend Tuo ye of lending out a book to a non university student, she caught on and made a fool of him saying she had also made a bet with other students to make him kiss her too. Mu Cheng leaves home angrily on that day and finds herself in Sheng hall building where quang xi goes to reminiscence of his time with his father there, she saw a piano there and begins to relive her younger days as a pianist and plays a tune quang xi recognizes, he ends up telling her to strip for him to embarrass her and her tears whilst trying to strip moved him and they gradually began a friendship, he becomes more protective of her when he sees that her step father had suspicious abusive behaviors towards her; so he got closer to her and later fell intensely love with her to the point of getting serious as a law student when an accusation of her selling her body was spread in the school, he defended her reputation on a panel and won.
But tragedy strikes as he fainted and later was diagnosed of brain tumor with only a 15% chance of survival, he harshly breaks off with mu Cheng until he hears she was in danger working at a fish market and he rushes off to see and eventually rescues her, they got stuck together in her house and ended up staying the night together having sex, the next day quang xi decided to go for the surgery so long as Mu Cheng stays with him, but with only the hope of 15% survival and a higher chance of 30% survival If his family accepts a deal with another rich family with the hope or marrying their daughter Yi Quin. Mu cheng had no choice than to play along and eventually cruelly leaving his side during his operation even though he ran out after her and saw her leave with her friend Tuo ye while being stabbed by her step father.

The operation was successful however quang xi wakes up with lost memory of his past and all his cognitive abilities and only Yi quin by his side whilst Mu cheng moves to Hua village, a community known for growing flowers, she found out she had become pregnant for Guang xi and gave birth to a most adorable boy named Xiao Le.
After 6 years, quang xi had to relearn everything with the help of Yi quin and passed his bar exams with no memory of the past, he became a notoriously good lawyer and was planning on marrying Yi Quin who had stayed by his side. During one of his sexual assault cases a memory of him defending Mu cheng flashed of his past which made him beat up his client and he was sentenced to 240 mins of community service of legal service at Hua village .
Guang xi arrives the village and immediately meets the adorable boy called Xiao Le who calls him his alien dad, and also saves mu cheng from a man forcefully trying to drug her to force marriage on her. He unknowingly formed a familiar bond with mother and especially his son not knowing who she really was, he returns to Taipei as a changed man after winning a case against his future father in law and the people of Hua Village, his new moral behavior became suspicious to his family as he had always been know to be a lawyer who acted without hai conscience, until his family found out he had met Mu cheng again when Xiao Le runs away from home to look for Guang xi.
Guangxi recovers his memory on the eve of his wedding with the help of a memory card inserted into the leather bracelet he gave Xiao Le, he breaks off his wedding and immediately wanted to torture everyone who kept him in the dark about his past life , he also immediately wanted Sole custody of his son Xiao Le, out of jealousy he also forced Mu Cheng to marry him because of her close friendship with Tuo ye, guang xi kept misunderstanding Mu cheng’s loyalty to Tuo ye and made him crazily jealous to the point of almost divorcing his newly married wife Mu cheng, until Xiao Le their son pulled them back to each other forcing them to acknowledge their feeling for each other.

So basically it’s just the same plot of the old story told slightly differently or let’s just say some events were flipped to the female lead with some antagonists coming from her end.

They also had way better designer wardrobe line up to the point it was so showy, and obviously they had a lot of location and apartments and more resources available,.

The chemistry between the leads was much better and they kissed a whole lot and definitely not pecks, however their acting was sometimes over the top to the point that I felt they were all excited, could be they got a lot of endorsements with this drama because the product placement was just ridiculously too much that I was almost gonna quit just because of the excessive product placement in the first 10 episodes. The female lead didn’t act well in a lot of scenes especially after she learned she got amnesia and didn’t have two year memory, her acting there on was really bad and just ridiculously unbelievable for someone who lost her memory, which is why I said why I said they probably got too much endorsements money from this drama that they didn’t feel the need to put in their very best towards the end.

I watched this drama because it had great reviews and people saying it was their best cdrama. But I must admit that I was a bit disappointed in it, I have watched a lot of well written fantasy drama but there was something off about this story that after moments of watching and enjoying for a bit then something feels off. I didn’t have that totally enjoyed it feeling I would normally get from a good drama.

Maybe it’s because the alien character wasn’t well written or well acted, it just felt off and most times ridiculous. The chemistry was tolerable but for an alien driven by hormones I expected more men chasing actions but she was always put off in acting when the man initiated skinship and kisses with her, so she what’s the point of all the attraction of male hormones ??‍♀️. SIMPLY NICE AND FLUFFY DRAMA WITH A SPRINKLE OF SLICE OF LIFE

This is a nice realistic and a bit fluffy drama with a bit serious life issue of psychologically sick and manipulative exes thrown in to deepen the lot.

It is about two adults always meeting each other coincidentally at a crucial time in their life and making new bond over dinner as strangers, they enjoyed dinners despite their differences in taste and preferences without placing unnecessary burdens on each other so they gradually began to open up and told each other about their past hurts and unknowingly forming a deep bond and slowly began to heal each other, but their past relationship partners keeps dragging them back and trying to put a wedge in their new found love for each other with their obsessive and manipulative behaviors.

The drama built up slowly but became addictive for me and i enjoyed the simple story, the male carried the weight of the acting and portying of emotions in this drama but i didnt like the acting of the female lead as it wasnt so good for lead standard plus she was so tense and uncomfortable with skinship and acted liked she was being attacked in kiss scenes, i thought she was in her early 20s, was shocked she was a 35 year old woman, plus she had been in previous relationships in the drama, the second female lead has the same annoying character she took in Cinderella and 4 knights, it felt like a continuation of her selfish behavior there.

The drama ended nicely and happily and there was a bit of redemption for the antagonists.

This drama has a nice story line with immense depth of knowledge of jewellry business and commensurate props to fit the story.
The Love story is the usual is a back and forth love of love between two people plagued by the usual trope of misunderstandings and family differences that drags through 53 episodes .
The chemistry between the leads was passable, but it should have been better for a 53 episodes drama., a lot of sweet moments of bed scenes and skinship should have been infused to make the journey of watching more exciting .
I however liked the story of loyalty, the male lead was loyal through and through before and after they broke up which was for the right reason but the wrong approach of disgracing her. I watched the entire drama which means I enjoyed it moderately because I normally drop dramas I don’t like the story line.

I won’t ship this couple, I don’t think their chemistry had the sexual energy vibe that makes me believe they would want each other after the show .

Decided to watch this drama after someone told me to try it out since I have also watched quite a few Taiwanese drama that I really liked
The plot seems good but it’s also very confusing, and repetitive for the first few episodes, I know I need to give it a few more episodes to under stand the whole plot, but it looks all over the place and confusing which is rare for me as I always look forward to cracking out drama theories .

I think I should put it on hold for now because the drama seems ambiguous and complicated and I need the right drama of mind to work through such dramas.
Too many repetitive scenes and the time traveling thing seems too confusing .
