I might get hate for this but I prefer Dong Eun and Yoo Jeong together except for her and Do Young. She was just using him right from the start as a replacement for Myeong o. But yea, their tension is great.

I mean, Dong Eun's plan is to "seduce" Ha Do Young right from the start. If you listen to their conversation, she learn how to play Go so she could get close to him. Because Dong Eun knows that Yeon Jin hide some secrets from her husband, so she decided to use him to expose her and take her down. And speaking of "seduction", it's a must to keep a calm and gentle level as possible to lure him. Because if you force it, he might see you as an enemy. Take the "Boiling Frog" syndrome as an example; if a frog is suddenly put into a pot of boiling water, it will jump out and save itself from impending death. But, if the frog is put in lukewarm water, with the temperature rising slowly, it will not perceive any danger to itself and will be cooked to death. To catch a prisoner, never give them any clue that they're in a cage. That's what Dong Eun is doing.
I just finished this few days ago and honestly, I don't have problems with big age gap but I didn't feel any chemistry…
Im fine with both of them, but its just Do young and Dong eun- you can feel the tension between them. Like my man literally visited the Go house to play with her and even made a Go park so they could play there together someday.
Here's my opinion of Alice in wonderland character representations to Alice in borderland characters ( y'all know about Hatter already so there's no need to explain hehe. and also PLEASE these are only my personal opinions)
Arisu - Alice
We know that Alice is the protagonist of the show, and so is Arisu. In fact, Arisu's name is the pronunciation of "Alice" in Japanese.
Usagi - Rabbit
I just don't why Usagi is the rabbit for I only saw it in the characters above. But for me, what's similar between them is that they're fast.
Chishiya - Cheshire Cat
Cheshire is sometimes pronounced for "Cheshire" in Japanese (or not). The fact why he is Cheshire is because of that grin. We know Cheshire always grins and cool-headed (remember that time in the tag game). He's calm, mysterious, mischievous, and even witty like Cheshire. "Its calm explanation to Alice that to be in Wonderland is to be “mad” reveals a number of points that do not occur to Alice on her own." this reminds me of him and Kuina explains about the secrets of the beach to Arisu on the rooftop.
Kuina - Caterpillar
I just thought of that because they smoke. Because Kuina stops smoking, she still has that cigarette-like-thing she usually sticks to her mouth to prevent her from smoking.
Mina - Queen of Hearts
Of course, the craziest of them all (crazier than Hatter actually). Queen of hearts loves to set up games for her satisfaction. According to what I've searched up: "the Queen of Hearts is not as concerned with nonsense and perversions of logic as she is with absolute rule and execution" and this is exactly like her.
Agoni - March Hare
I have this thought because he's close to Takeru, the mad hatter. If you remember in Wonderland that Hatter and Hare madly drink tea while having fun, in Borderland, well they just there for each other to make people do what they want like they're in a massive tea party of madness. Not until Hatter loses his mind.
Yea ahhahahah. I feel that embarrassment but bruh that girl really doesnt mind of sleeping with a guy in one tent so bold hahah. And ur right. When they entered the beach, things are going to get messy. And more secrets will be unveil. Gaahhhh cant w8 for season 2 for finished it hours ago (i stayed up all night to finish it hehe)
