There were ample suspense, action, and romance scenes to keep the story moving and interesting. The story has a good beginning that piques the viewer's interest to see what will happen in the next event. The acting of the main leads and supporting actors was good enough considering what they had to work with. The main male lead's consent intimacy with the female lead has you wondering if he was taking advantage of the female lead or if he had feelings for her.

Jesse Ren's features resemble a younger Liu Yuning and could pass for Yuning's younger brother. It is evident that this is a low-budget film, and the cast had to work hard to keep the viewers' interest. Compared to other low-budget films, at least this film didn't have annoying background singing and unbearable sound and acoustics.
