I think both dramas are healing to watch, break our hearts at times, but fix them right back up.

Both incredibly suitable for the summer-time.

Both stories are told from a very character-centric standpoint, rather than plot-centric, if that makes sense. We see a lot of sides of each character, their emotions, and perspectives.

Both of these dramas have:
- cop/military duo
- training/bootcamp setting
- great comedic relief (especially Midnight Runners)
- centered around serious, heavy topics
- plenty of action
- a bit of mystery
