but the whole concept from episode one that his love was so big that it brought her back to his time from what…
You’re right actually, plotwise, that would make the most sense. I just did not enjoy how it progressed, I just don’t feel the chemistry between the leads but well that’s just me 😂
The cooking aspect of the show is interesting and enjoyable, I would have liked this show more if not for the weird romance dynamic between the leads. (just not my cup of tea)
Is this really going to be set at university again? I feel like most, if not all, of the actors are really a bit…
They’re all in their mid 20s to early 30s but am I the only one who thinks it’s acceptable for a university drama? Because many adults do enroll into universities at later ages, so I don’t see why it should be an issue.
It would bug me a lot if it was a highschool setting ngl.
I don’t even go into the EM fandom much but what do y’all have against EM, these comments are so passive-aggressive. Anyway, here for EM, AB and Gawin!
Earth and the actor who plays Kongdech...they're exceptionally good ! It takes some skill to keep switching between comedic and serious, especially for a fast paced show like this
Earth, imo, is doing a great job at this role, very different from the stern characters he plays. While the humour did feel very heavy handed in the beginning, the show is certainly growing on me. I haven't watched the original tho...
I specifically made this account to rant about how underrated this drama is and how mad I am at gmmtv for not…
The biggest mistake GMM did with Not Me was geo-blocking it in Philippines, Japan and Thailand. These countries, especially Japan and Thailand, have a huge number of viewers who tune into bl's. But even with all the odds, Not Me managed to garner over 10M views on AISplay, around 10M in iWantTFC and over 60M in YT. In Japan, there was no legal streaming platform, so there's no official count for that. Since, iWantTFC comes with a lot of ads, I wouldn't be surprised if many non-fans from Philippines chose to watch the show from other streaming sites. Another thing to consider is, the plot and storyline isn't for everyone, the fact that Not Me garnered as many views even with all these obstacles has me impressed.
I still remember being confused about the airing schedule for Not Me because most GMMTV bl's air on Fridays but Not Me was airing on Sundays. GMMTV did not announce the change in schedules and the airing time properly, even the trailer was dropped out of the blue and had everyone confused. When we ask for more promotions, we mean in terms of shows and interviews. Whenever there's an upcoming show, the actors tend to promote on either OffGun Fun Night or OffGun's cooking show or ArmShare, etc.,. It was outrageous that GMMTV refused to give a single show with the Not Me cast when they used OffGun's popularity to promote their other shows. The director also complained about the lack of platform to talk about the show. GMMTV pulled some last minute strings and resolved all this in a span on 2 weeks towards the end after the fans trended the hashtag but I still feel salty that they didn't plan this out properly.
The show also had a consistent following and hype throughout the airing period.

MC: You said, that's okay?! So, how was the first plan?
Nuchy: Everyone in car is dead
