one of the most unique kdramas i've watched! for those who find it confusing, i highly recommend to keep watching because everything comes together at the end. the first few episodes really keep you guessing about who these strangers are and how they are connected with each other. also, going into this with as little information as possible will make the sequences where they reveal a key piece of information much more impactful. one thing that stood out to me was the beautiful soundtrack and the songs "where the wind blows" and "when the rain stops". those two scenes were my favourite and the songs fit so well, especially with the tracking shots.
just binged all three seasons and i could really feel the difference between s1/2 and s3. first of all i absolutely loved the beautiful cinematography and the leap in production quality in this season, which i think is its strongest point compared to the first two seasons. probably an unpopular opinion, but the show still works quite well without an overarching storyline. the episodic format is a suitable choice for less repetition, since all the main characters stories have been covered previously, and they have already dealt with their actions being questioned by authority. however, in some cases, it seems like they are focused on making flashy, cool moments rather than on the stories of victims, which has been the heart of the show since the beginning. the elements case is one of the more interesting and impactful cases because they spent time showing the audience their detailed backstory. i was very excited to watch eps 15-16 and learn more about dogi's time in the military, but it left me disappointed. the antagonist's motives were unclear and kind of silly. starting a war? how did we get here?? i did love the scene when the past victims gathered at the elements concert, and it was so poetic how the civilians rainbow taxi had devoted themselves to protecting ultimately saved them in this final case. despite that, i wish there was a proper conclusion instead of just showing that dogi survived and they're back together working on another case, especially since there's no confirmation of a 4th season. one thing i expected them to at least touch on in season 3, as a continuation from season 2, is dogi's trauma and the sound of the whistle triggering his panic attacks, but i guess they forgot about character development. season 3 left many unanswered questions in a way the first 2 seasons didn't. i'm definitely hoping for a season 4 because the eps with madam lim are my favourite and i would love to see her dynamic with wang tao zi again. a scene with both the lim sisters and dogi at the same time and place would be absolute cinema. overall, this series has been great and i will definitely be rewatching my favourite cases and have kim dogi's personas bless my screen (farmer dogi my beloved <3). 5283 dispatch completed!!
Why is it no reason? Characters died because they were clearly outnumbered by Babylon soldiers. They even bought…
i get that, but there are other ways this lesson could have been taught, just as meaningfully, without taking the most drastic route of death. imo this was already expressed really well when she lost woojin, so its hard to justify killing off most of the supporting characters to get this message across.

i remember in one episode jian said she didn’t want people to keep dying because of her. i think she would have had a stronger character development if she was finally able to protect those around her who have been protecting her since the beginning

bringing minhye back was predictable, but i think some characters deaths, especially brother, didnt serve much purpose and is basically repeating the same idea that people will be sacrificed wherever jian goes. it's an unsatisfying ending for the characters people loved since s1.
These complaints are odd. This is a show about murderers and you are surprised people died? And leaving an opening…
yes of course, but i'm kind of disappointed about how the supporting characters storyline developed. for example, pasin's betrayal wasn't convincing to me (even though his son's life was on the line) because he struck me as someone who would stick with the murthehelp team and find a way to get out of the situation. to me, it didn't make sense that he, with all the skills that he has, couldn't find a way to let them know babylon got to him since they were only listening in to their voices at the start. i guess everyone has different preferences about open endings but i would prefer it to have a satisfying conclusion instead of ending it so abruptly. as for jinman, i was mostly joking but he was kind of a bum after he killed bale lol
so we're just killing characters off for no reason now... also lowkey sick of shows having an ending that serves as a setup for a next season when nothing's confirmed like at least wrap things up nicely ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ and where did jinman's screentime go in the last 2 eps too bruh
kusanagi better get slimed out by the end of the season... i hope pasin's still on murthehelps side and hes just pretending to kill them i mean hes gotta have a plan right ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
hopefully it shows more of jinman and jian's backstory bc i love the trope where a guy leading a mysterious life is forced to take care of a child. also the cinematography kinda reminds me of the worst of evil. disney only has a few kdramas but they're def doing better than netflix
