Junior and Mark did a good job. But... I just didn't like the idea. I despise scammers of any kind. From the beginning, Tim and Pai's entire relationship was hard to watch and a bit disgusting. I couldn't wait for all the cheating to be revealed, but once it happened... I could only feel sorry for Pai. Because he already loved Tim at that point. And I knew he'd forgive him, even though he shouldn't have. So yeah. I liked everyone's acting. And I liked the chemistry between the actors. But I didn't like the plot.

I'm guessing autism, but it's hard to say? I don't know if it's mentioned in later episodes. I'm currently on episode 10.

I wish I could say I'm one of those mature BL fans, but... really, I'm just ignorant. I didn't even know there was some kind of fan war going on? I really don't follow that kind of thing and I don't particularly care what others think about a given series, agency, or actors. If I like something, I like it, and that's it.

I watched 4 episodes in one sitting. now I really, really want to watch 5. but I have to get up for work in 5 hours... so I should probably go to bed lol.

Right? I didn't recognize him right away either. Mainly because of those teeth. My brain paused for a moment as I watched the screen. I thought... "Nah, not him... right?" Haha. Damn, this is probably his best role. I don't want to say he wasted his time in BL before, but this role really showed his full potential as an actor (at least for me).

Only two of them over the years, and neither of them ever really got to know him. It was just a crush on his looks. He didn't spend much time with them either; they mostly exchanged messages. Everyone was interested in his brother not just because of his looks, but because he was described as smart, gentle, kind, and polite. The complete opposite of Nao. Only Tiger saw all these qualities in him, which always shocked people and was funny from a third-person perspective. That's the basis of their story, I think.

Every country has a different standard of beauty. It's something you have to accept. In Asia, it's always going to be fair skin. In my country, it's a very dark tan (which I'll never achieve because I'm allergic to the sun, lol).

Was episode 5 a disappointment? Yes. Am I surprised? Not at all.

Damn, the preview for episode 6 still shows it's going to be a pre-university episode? Does that mean book one got 6 episodes and book two only 2? What's with this split... I want to cry.

Objectively, Tiger's actions were stupid. No wonder his shitty father was furious.

In fact, I personally think that season one is much better than season two. From the point of view of someone who has read all the novels in this series. I didn't feel that the action was rushed or that anything significant was cut out. I didn't feel the need to use the novel to understand why the characters made certain decisions or because the drama lacked details that left me feeling unsatisfied. Of course, this is just my opinion and I respect that you feel differently. But while I love all the couples in this universe, I think each of them would need at least 12 episodes to fully cover the source material and show the depth of the characters. Take Daotok for example - he's such a psycho. But it wasn't shown in the drama and I think it's sad because it showed his mental state really well. Here too... I won't spoil it for you, but overall Tiger is rather cruel and brutal when he's not around Nao, but I don't think they'll show it here either. And their whole family situations! Seriously, this is so interesting... but they barely touched on it. It's not that this season is bad. Even though I complain, I still love it. It's just... For me, what the drama shows in this season would not be enough as a viewer to feel satisfaction, you know? Since I know the novel, I can watch it with pleasure because I fill the gaps with the source material.

Literally EVERYTHING in this second series is rushed. Half the source material was cut. Not just this couple, the previous two as well. Maybe you wouldn't feel it so much if you haven't read the book, but God knows, watching Sun from Another Star, I wanted to cry because of how rushed it was and how so much important stuff was cut!

Although the kidnapping scene wasn't in the book either because it was told from Tiger's point of view, who wasn't there. Just like in the drama. What bothers me is the downplaying of the brutality in this series. Since they already showed Tiger as a killer, they could have at least put some effort into the scene where he fights the gang...

That's basically it. Everyone falls in love with Nao's brother, except Tiger who falls in love with Nao.

I don't think so. As Singh said, it had to happen because of their father's orders. Their father sent his men to watch his older son. Singh didn't have much choice. If he hadn't forced Tiger to shoot, their father would have done it.

I know, right? It's not that I'm not enjoying this show, but the trailer was so good, so surprisingly dark... I really had high expectations.
