Thank you for the great review. But why are you involving Gmmtv ðŸ˜You have a point, but why
Touching grass in late autumn is a bit difficult where I live. Maybe at 35 I'm not really ready for real life... hmm. It's a fascinating way to look at the world.
Thank you for the great review. But why are you involving Gmmtv ðŸ˜You have a point, but why
Do you hate all GMMTV productions? If so, why do you watch them? You don't have to let them make money off you. ;) Everyone has the right to express their criticism, but I don't understand people who dislike something and still cling to it. In my opinion, GMMTV has produced many great series.
OK, someone wants to explain to me why BL series viewers make it sound like being a BL actor is a bad thing that…
Who's doing this? I know all these BL actors and I was excited to see them in this series even though it's not BL. Genre has nothing to do with acting talent.
Khunkhao knows perfectly well how he affects Siwat. He likes to provoke a reaction in him. Like a bad wolf tormenting a cute bunny. Khunkhao, if you break his heart, I'll hunt you down.
Words can't express how much I hated Fah. I don't think I've ever seen a bigger idiot in a zombie movie. Seriously. She runs around like a madwoman with a ringing phone in her hands... Absurd. Then we have Ning… the kind of savior who's completely unsuited for the apocalypse. She thinks she can save everyone, but she can't even save herself. Her behavior grated on my nerves from the very beginning, and the further I went, the worse it got. Then there's Pao. The martyr type. He takes the blame for everyone's deaths, even if it wasn't his fault. The first girl was understandable. But Fah? What exactly did he feel guilty about? He acted like he killed her, not her own stupidity. And he couldn't get over the fact that she was killed with an axe. I would understand if they were close before she turned into a zombie, but they weren't. Mook. Let's give this girl a mug that says "naive of the year." She made me roll my eyes so hard I was afraid they'd fall out. And the further I went, the more her hypocrisy hurt. At first, I thought Prao would be a badass, but no. She turned out to be a manipulator who simply enjoys sowing chaos where things are already chaotic. Of course, people die in zombie movies. But someone always survives. And often, it's a character I like. It's been that way in every zombie movie and TV show I've seen. But not here. Here, every character I rooted for, except Earth, has died, but he hints he might have gone crazy like Pao, so... I'm not holding my breath. That said, despite all my complaints about the characters, the show itself was great. I'm talking about the plot, the original zombies, the great acting, the decent special effects, and the ending. I live for endings like that. I just still lament the fact that it had to be Nonn.
What annoyed me about this series was that every character I instantly liked died. Seriously. First Lily. The only girl I was interested in. Then Korn. Like literally... Why?! And Aek. I didn't even have time to come to terms with Korn's death, and then Aek dies a few minutes later?! And Nonn. God. Why didn't any of those stupid bitches inject themselves?!
I love the setup of the final game, but the show's creators cut corners, probably because they didn't have time for anything else. Seven of them received, along with their uniforms, the item they absolutely need to win the minigames. They don't know which item will be needed where, so... they split up? I repeat, they don't know which item will be needed where! If Samut and the others had taken a game with a clock and didn't have a clock because Kaen was in a completely different place... how much time would they have wasted running around looking for Kaen and telling him he had to play this particular minigame? But of course, the show's creators cut corners, and each split team happened to find a game that perfectly suited them. Like a merry-go-round with horses. They needed four people to play it, and it just so happened that they landed on Don (who had the item needed to run the game, of course), Aom, Benz, and Samut. Yep. What a wonderful coincidence!
The final episode had everything it needed to deliver a satisfying ending: a nc scene, a wedding mention, the reincarnations of mischievous spirits who were adopted. Honestly, if I could have one more request for the creators of this series, it would be to make a special episode featuring Jet and Chan's wedding. I really need that final touch to their relationship after all the sad flashbacks.
I don't even know what to say. I had a ton of comments and complaints swirling around in my head while watching these 12 episodes. There were moments when I wanted to bang my head against the wall and scream at the universe, "Why the hell?!" There were moments that evoked so many emotions in me: frustration, irritation, anger, laughter, joy, and excitement. There were episodes I would rate 100/10 and others I would rate 7/10 at most. Is this series without flaws? Not at all. It has plenty. There are plot holes, flaws, and tons of things that could have been done differently or better. But I eagerly awaited each episode for seven whole days. And every episode, even the weaker ones, made the wait for the next one worthwhile. Despite everything, I love this series and give it a 10/10 as a final rating.
