thank you for such an amazing series. I used to look forward to Saturday every week but now I don’t know what…
same here. working on Saturdays is always extremely tiring, but the thought of watching an episode of Khemjira after work gave me energy. I don't know what I will do from now on...
and before someone inevitably comments it, I know about homophobia in Japan, I'm not naive, I still think it is…
In my country, homosexual couples raising children are very... intolerant? I don't know how to put it, because "intolerance" isn't even a strong enough word. Lesbians, I think, would get through it without much hatred, more with judgment. But gays? Someone would immediately suspect they might be raping these children because idiots in my backward country don't know the difference between a homosexual and a pedophile. So I understand the implication in the series. It's good that you're concerned. It means you're mentally sane. The rest of the world just isn't.
Net brings so much to the table. Like his face :DSeriously, I wasn't expecting a car chase scene as they try to…
The ghosts in earlier episodes appeared in one place and then in the next in the blink of an eye. I don't know what else to call it other than teleportation.
Suddenly, in this episode, they were flying faster than a car, so... Still makes no sense to me, but I enjoyed watching it too.
Episode 11 was a rollercoaster ride, and I forgot to fasten my seatbelt. Lots of laughter (though at times, more snorting at the absurdity), lots of emotion (the past-life wedding scene), lots of eye-rolling (because if you don't want Khem to hand himself over on a silver platter, tie his fucking hands and feet so he stays in the safety of the circle), lots of excitement (Net's face just has that effect on me). God, that was awful. Worst episode so far. But I loved it. I guess I just like cheesy "let's outrun a ghost in my Ferrari" stuff.
I was dumbfounded when ChanJet got out of the car. Like there are a dozen of murderous ghosts out there and instead…
I agree that the plan was ridiculous, and I'm a little surprised Peem didn't think about Khem's birthday (don't shamans read people's fates by their birthdays, etc.? I think someone like that should consider every detail when choosing to fight fate). BUT. I have to say, I liked the scenes with Chan and Jet. Considering Chan has no experience with things like fighting ghosts, is foolishly in love, and his great love is threatened, I think saying his name was pure instinct. And if he hadn't, Jet probably would have died, lol. I don't know why they got out of the car, but they couldn't have gone any further. They weren't ghosts on the road, but possessed people. Chan obviously didn't want to kill them.
Yes! I said the same thing too. Namping really copied Jet’s mannerism so perfectly
As for Namping's acting, I think he has enormous potential, but he still hasn't fully embraced it. It's just my opinion, but I see a few flashes of true acting talent, and then there's a scene where Khem cries loudly. And I can't stand those scenes. Like the scene where Khem tried to cast a love spell on Peem and was rejected. His whining didn't feel natural at all. But then there was the scene where he was sad on the platform as he was trying to leave the village, and Jet came running and they hugged—Khem shed a single tear with this super sad face that broke my heart. Do you know what I mean? I think he just lacks experience. In a few years, he'll be magnificent.

Seriously, I wasn't expecting a car chase scene as they try to outrun ghosts who can basically teleport.
