I don't think I can say enough about this drama! I just love it! The story was simple and sweet. It just did such a good job in sticking to its original plot and letting the characters grow in it and drive the plot ahead. After I finished the drama I felt so satisfied with the ending but at the same time I didn't want it to end. Even though everything was resolved I wanted to continue watching it, just to see the daily interactions of the characters and how they go on with life, and I swear I wouldn't have gotten bored. I just loved how every character was eccentric and unique in their own way. I really liked that the male lead actually showed suffering due to his trauma and not just coldness. There we so many emotions and each emotion was explored so well I was overwhelmed. I especially loved the growth we saw in the Male Lead.

The Actors we exceptional too! They did such a good job and I was really impressed by how much they could express with just their eyes. The chemistry between the leads was just mind blowing and I just wanted to keep on watching them interact and go on dates! They are just sooo damn cute and suit eachother so well. And it was honestly so refreshing to see a mature Second Lead at an immature age of 17. The drama really wrote its characters well and gave them shapes and stuck to their personalities and habits.

There are no big plot twists but the way the story flows is comfortable and it keeps making you want to watch more because of how comfortable it it. It appeals to your emotions in subtle ways and you attach yourself to the characters. And then you realise you're watching not for the mystery or story or whatever, but just to see those characters you have come to love.

The music they used was really nice too! The OSTs really suited the mood of the drama and I loved hearing them!

I don't normally re-watch drama but, I think I am going to re-watch this one cause I just loved it so much!

The drama was just so cute and so heart filling, it was not perfect but it was something I needed to bring my spirits up and to make me smile.

This is one of the best school dramas I have seen. To be honest, I was a little skeptical at first, but I was not at all disappointed. I loved how the story progressed and every character developed along the lines of the story. The acting by the cast members was really nice too and they all played their roles really well. I was especially happy with Jung Eun Ji and her character. She was so pure and nice but not the pint where she doesn't have any self respect. Even the Male Lead, Yeol was really endearing and I loved how they layered him up. Ji Soo had my heart again with his amazing acting and his precious character. I must say I was also impressed by Chae Soo Bin and her ability to play her roles in such a wide range.

It was also fun to see the other side characters and how the friendship between two unlikely groups developed friendship and started having eachothers back. The romance in the drama is just so damn cute I was smiling all time. But even without the romance, the friendship these characters showed between them was just heartwarming.

The arc of the story was nice too, with antagonists getting what they deserve in the end. I loved how the story touched upon what school students go through especially in a society where grades matter more than anything. The drama really did well in portraying that many students go through either emotional or physical abuse by their parents which leads them to take drastic steps against their will, and end up hurting themselves or others.

Overall I would totally recommend this dram especially if you're in the mood for short, fun and lighthearted drama with some pretty important messages. True to its name, the drama really Cheers you Up!!

I am a psychology major, so when I saw the summary of the drama I really wanted to see it, as the main lead is described to be autistic. And I must say, the drama and the actor do a good job of portraying an autistic character. Of course it's not totally perfect and there are some things shown for the sake of drama. But overall the drama has done a really good job in portraying an autistic person who faces discrimination and judgement in daily life both in his professional abilities and in general.

STORY:

The story of the drama is simple yet beautifully written. The story moves forward smoothly and its fun to see every new case bring in a new lesson and new step for out main leads to move forward on. Even though romance is included, I felt that i was not the romance but the overall relationship Shi-on builds with all the members in the hospital, be it a brotherly relationship, a friendly one or a romantic one. I will always remember the story of Good Doctor for its amazing character growth. I could see the growth not only in our leads but also the other characters as the story moved forward. It seemed lie everyone had something to learn and develop. I do wish the romance was a little less abrupt but with the overall story so great, i could overlook it. At the end it just felt like I had seen a child grow into an adult overcoming the things around him and becoming stronger. The Drama does a good job of balancing Comedy, Drama, Character Growth, and almost everything else.

ACTING/CAST:

The entire cast was new to me and I had not watched any of the Actor's drama before. And I must say they surprised me. They all worked excellently and I didn't once feel like they were acting or anything. The emotional scenes moved me so much cause they could express the emotions so well. Especially Joo-won did a very very good job in portraying an autistic person. He just touches your heart with his acting and you keep wanting to see him more.

MUSIC:

The music was also nice and suited the drama well. I don't think they are something I will listen to when not watching the drama, but they complimented the drama well and even touched your heat sometimes.

RE-WATCH VALUE:

To be honest I rarely re-watch dramas unless and until I am in the mood. I don't think I will watch Good Doctor as a whole but maybe I would like o see some snippets and some parts again, especially where Shi-on manages to touch people with his words and actions and also the comic scenes.

OVERALL:

I would totally recommend you to watch this drama especially if you like watching a character grow and become what you have been rooting for him to be. And also the series would really touch your heart and open your mind towards those who are disabled and maybe make you see them in a different light.
