i put this drama on hold for 3 weeks and finally itās the last episode today.. iāll binge-watch tomorrow~ but yk iām still disappointed with ianās pov of the car accident.. it didnāt properly show how he found out there was an accident on the road.. he just appeared out of nowhere beside huijuās car, and then there was the flashback about his momās accident... but well, iāll move on and hopefully this drama ends beautifully
Ep 1-2 : huiju clearly states that her reason for marrying the prince is to elevate her social status, gain power, and give herself a fair chance to compete with his brother and inherit castle group
ep4: the royal family canāt engage in business or economic activities.
so, does huiju not know about this, or is she simply being naive and assuming everything will work out? bcs essentially, marrying the prince would mean losing her position and her chance altogetherā¦
(welll, i know prince ian will bend the rules for her again even though that means against the world, but stillā¦)
the baby king will still end up as king in the end. prince ian and huiju will get married and leave the palace, where ian is completely free from royal duties and focuses on being the castle group ceoās husbandš there might be a period where ian becomes king to save the country and his nephew š¤ as for the villain, if thereās no twist, itās probably daebi mamaās father.
the royal family never divorces, except for the king. interesting⦠so prince ian must have treated the contract marriage as real from the very beginning. he never planned to divorce.
i think the best way to enjoy this drama is to stay away from peopleās comments and reviews, especially the bad ones šš because the plot is my style, soā¦
of course, after watching 2 eps, there are a lot of flawsāacting, script, and directionābut well, itās been a long time since i watched kdrama again š iām looking forward to the next episode (and hopefully some improvement)
tbh i started this drama for the cameos without any expectation, but by the end i was down bad for seo ingukās dimple smileš the story itself is pretty unique and not too complicated, though there are parts i didnāt like. jisooās acting is okayānot terrible, but not that impressive either. she clearly needs some improvement. overall, i wouldnāt really recommend it to my friends, but if youāre looking for a light drama, itās worth giving a try
Iām on ep 3 and wondering⦠FL and ML are basically just coworkers and alr working tgt for so long, how do they end up together? i mean no hint or spark until now lol. anw, lee soohyukās voice is so sexy as always.
Finally, I finished it. At first, I tried to enjoy the story since Iāve always liked Kim Hyeāyoonās acting. But you know that feeling when something is just⦠missing? Like something is off and wrong.. and there are plot holes everywhere. nothing special about the story, flat, no surprise, suspense, everything so predictable. The writing lacks depth. The characters also have a lot of flaws. More importantly, the villains were really underwhelming, esp the shaman. His motives and background were never properly explained, and it felt like his character was unnecessary. Weāre supposed to hate the villains, right? But instead, I just found them boring and weak. The chaebol one did great job, his acting was good.
The love story also felt forced. I didnāt feel any butterflies in my stomach, even during scenes that were clearly meant to be romantic. Iām not sure if thatās because of the script, the directing, or both.
Ep12 was the best one for me, but the ending still made me go, āWhat the hell?ā Itās technically a happy ending, but it doesnāt really feel like one. Overall, almost every aspect of this drama needed a lot more improvement. Itās pretty disappointing, especially since Iād been waiting for it to air since last year.
Finally done watching my favorite show! As a hardcore fan of SNU, Iām so happy they maintained their winning streak for three seasons. I could see how the SNU team was kind of struggling during the first half of the show, but luckily they escaped the death match. In the second half, they grew so much! During the death match vs. SNU STEM, they showed how brilliant they are individually, and their performance reached the top after that. And the final ā woah, best of the best! Lee Seonghyeon was so cool, I should say. Once again, congrats to SNU for the win!
The casting this season was incredible because of how balanced each team was, and it left me with no choice but to root for them too. It was sad to see the eliminations because theyāre all so genius and lovely. SKKU and SNU STEM had special place in my heart!
i hope the production team announce the 4th season soon and Korea University could participate again⦠i loved them in season 1
so what i get from this mess, originally they had plan to debut 2 groups, k and c group separately, but there was melon before the show aired, in the middle of discussion mnet/cjnm failed to reach aggreement with yuehua ent who were initially manage the debut team from c group (i guess the conflict related to profit sharing) .. near the end of bp they found another agency to handle the c group and decide to do spin-off. or they planned this merge and spin-off from beginning to boost the show and the trainees popularity before debuting 2 separates group
i'm on ep8 rn... they seriously gonna drag Li Shiliu plot until when? half of drama? bfr this so unserious bcz theres no progress at all.. i'll put this on hold until SYM get her sense and move to NH side.
actually there are manyyy things to talk about this drama! the plot, script, actors, visual, chemistry, and etc. such a light hearted, warm, and beautiful drama. i like how the couples really COMMUNICATE and gradually build their love, trust, and understanding through long conversation. if you come to this comment section by chance you should give this a try!
