in the novel he has two gf... he is a truly bastard there.. let's see in the drama
Good to know. Sounds like a decent resolution, but I think I’ll wait it out until the end and come back for spoilers and ratings to decide if I want to watch it.
I just start watching this series yesterday. Without me knowing it, I just finish 5 episode straight. I don't…
I love the two females. The FL was in Love Me If You Dare which is an all time favorite for me. The second female listed (supporting) was in go go squid, and I’ve been waiting to see her in something else since then. I’m not familiar with the men though.
watch it now hahahha. This drama airs from Thursday to Sunday, it won't be too long to wait
I did notice it was airing a lot of episodes during the week so I may. And I was able to use my VPN to find it on my Tencent app I already may for to get VIP.
I want to start this so bad. I love the FL from Love Me If You Dare and I love Jeing Pei Yao from go go squid, she was so cute and endearing I’ve been looking forward to seeing her in another drama with a more prominent role. I want to start this now but I HATE waiting.
For the most part I watch dramas for romance. I want my leads to end in a happy and healthy relationship.
Off and on I come across maybe a movie or short series that sounds interesting and I watch it if it’s not romance or watch it knowing that it has a sad ending. I think for me I can handle a sad ending if I know that is the intent of the story (ex. lead has terminal illness) so I don’t go into it with the expectations of it being an overall happy ending.
But I can’t invest myself into a long drama that doesn’t have romance and a happy ending. I mostly watch dramas for a pleasant escape from reality.
Agreed, I really disliked how the FL acted. I hope they don’t go that route because I love Shen Yue. I’m also…
And then to see what it did to the ML lead made it worse. I dropped it when I got there. I couldn’t support the relationship anymore. I really hope they don’t do Jasper and Shen Yue like that. I’ll be so mad if they turn Shen Yue into that type of character. I can deal with there being the usual separation in dramas, but don’t make it ridiculous just for the sake of drama.
I didn't love the Korean version all that much (mostly just the last couple episodes) but I am going to watch…

Totally agree with everything. I couldn’t even watch it. I’ll add one more to the least. The age of the FL lead shows, especially compared to the ML. She did not look like a high schooler at all. They would have been better off in a noona romance. Shen Yue was so perfect to me. Honestly, she’s just adorable and it really worked for that role.
You know what is odd is the F/M Thai drama have slap kiss and lack of consent, rape and ridiculous drama, but I find the BL dramas are sweet and caring and real stories. I was never into BL for my past 25 years of shipping, but these Thai Bl are amazing.
whaatt? totally disagree... Chinese version FL is much worse with the cringey acting
That’s a big reason why I couldn’t watch it, the FL lead looked too old and was just too much, while I think Shen Yue really captured a charismatic high school girl because she was young,
From comments it sounds like the K version may be better one they are portrayed as adults. Instead of of opting the C drama math it would have been better to style this drama around these different actors.
But Shen Yue is one of my favorite actresses. So I am biased.
Also, a lot of people appreciate this softer version of the ML, but I prefer a colder one. It shows the FL resilience, but I think it also helps pack more of a punch when you start seeing how much he needs her towards the end but was unable to communicate that.
