The premise sounded great but i wont be watching it now. I was really into but it's become over saturated with poorly made dramas, bad acting, bad writing. Thailand just churns them oujt like a factory. I'm just exhausted with it now.
I didn’t think I would drop it, but I did. It had kind of a John Wick feel, but it just didn’t do that. And I think some people are right, it should have been a movie. I thought the action would hold me over, but I was kind of getting bored with it.
I’m trying to understand the FL behavior. I’ve browsed the comments and noticed a lot of people annoyed by it, and that makes sense. I was wondering if perhaps she has some type of autism? That would make sense, but I don’t see anything in the comments, tags, or description to suggest that. I’m wondering if anyone else thought the same thing or if anyone knew more about it.
I haven’t watched this yet, but I looked at a couple of scenes from the first and second episode and it is just like Princess Jellyfish, which was also Japanese. I thought this might have been a remake, but it doesn’t say it is, and it also says this is from a manga. Just a lot of similarities. Because from what I read is the character playing the cross dresser is straight, and that’s the way it was in princess jellyfish too. Now in that movie the FL was dating his brother. Anyone have any insight?
I haven’t seen this yet, but I’m not hearing great things. I wanted to wait until all the episodes are out. Here’s my theory with BounPrem as a couple. They were great in the first movie (can remember the name) as supporting characters, we had great interactions and chemistry. Then they did Even Sun and the then Between Us, and since they were the main focus, it just became more apparent they don’t really have the talent to pull off the main characters. This being their third drama as a main couple, but the scenes are still so awkward and unnatural. I just don’t think they have the talent to carry a series as a main couple. And this isn’t me hating on them. I love them, and I really want them to succeed, but I just can’t help feeling the awkwardness.
I watched the first two episodes and I liked the character dynamics. It in court, it was just so over dramatic and stiff it was comical. It’s like they have this fun side but when court starts it’s all drama. The dramatic tone of the court room just turned me off, plus there weren’t any hoot moments either. I didn’t go far though. I think what I mean about the court room is it was so official, and it’s a court room, so I got it, but everyone was like a robot switch had been turned on.
The character maybe very different in this, since the genre is aswell. Either way try not to compare it to much.…
I’m going to try not to. Just the Korean version was so perfect. I know shen yue will do great. I’m he chemistry was so good in the Korean version I just hope the chemistry is still there. Plus, I really loved the height difference it was so cute. For example, I loved “A love So Beautiful” from China (also with shen yue), but the Korean version was bad, and then the Thai version was even worse. I’m hopeful though.
I love Shen Yue. And I think she is perfect for this adaption. I hope it does well. I don’t know the actor, but hopefully he can pull off the sweet and innocent character Rowoon played.
Is there not a similar drama like this? I think Japanese as well. It is also two-coworkers, one is older and the other younger. And so think the younger one is trying to help the older guy, but J don’t think it had anything to do with turning 40. I think the younger guy was just curious about the older guy. Anyone know the drama I’m thinking of? I think it as pretty good. I’d like to find the name.
I agree. I’m having trouble watching a lot of Thai BL lately. I feel like after so many and finding the good…
You’d think with how popular and accepted the BL dramas are in Thailand they should take advantage of that and make better quality dramas? But they don’t. It’s seems for the most part hey use the same recipe for each and the unrealistic and over the top acting. I do like some of the Korean BL, the quality is better, better plots, and less cringe, I just wish they would make them longer.
Love Boun/Prem and I will watch this and reserve final judgement til then. However, based on the trailer(compared…
I agree. I’m having trouble watching a lot of Thai BL lately. I feel like after so many and finding the good ones, a lot some silly or juvenile. And when I say juvenile I’m not saying that because I want an adult rating. I don’t even need that. It’s just the stories, the acting, the things they say are juvenile, even if they aren’t portraying actual juveniles. I just want something made well and portrayed realistically (or as realistically as can be done if it is a fantasy or supernatural drama).
