This is one of the few shows i think will do well with a 12 to 14 episode runtime. Based on current trajectory i predict that it will have a satisfactory ending that will close all plot points without devolving into fillers and cliches.

Gong Myung, as usual, is giving off 2ML energy. But it seems to be working in this drama. Which is great because i'm fed up of the dude getting shafted every time. In any other drama, KJW's character would be the ML. The Chaebol son who is at a disadvantage, in a loveless marriage...

Personally, i think a system is a cheap plot device that motivates character development. Its like the author telling their character to do something or behave a certain instead of having the environment spark character development. Very few novels and comics do it right.

The System genre finally makes its way into kdramaland. We are just a hop skip and a jump away from hunter slop with those stupid gates and dungeons.

Noh Gi Jun is a total green flag of a man. Assertive but not aggressive. Unafraid to express his emotions. Empathetic. And gyaaaat Dayum these shirtless scenes...

In the case of super trope-y dramas like this, what really makes them watchable is the chemistry between the leads and their charisma. The reason why Business Proposal performed so well was because both the main and secondary couple had insane chemistry and charisma.

The main leads in this also have a sizzling chemistry. Looking forward to seeing how it develops. I really hope the don't drag it for too long (considering its only 14 epis, most 16 episode long RomComs stumble in the last 2 episodes so i have high expectations with this one).
