Don't wanna be THAT guy, but if she got sent to the past from an Airplane, how did she have a taser in her handbag? Shouldn't that be confiscated during Security Check in?
the last scene was so ugh. Are the parents that stupid and actually blame her for what happened to the kids as…
People want someone to blame and they will find the most convenient outlet. And SK people tend to hold public figures to an unnecessarily high level of scrutiny. Like if they accidentally fart loudly in public they will get crucified for air pollution.
Its hard to understand this for western audience. I guess in the west it is kind of the same, but there is also an understanding that people are, in fact, human. And there is a level of forgiveness that the public affords these public figures. In SK, a public entity is just like a public company. There is a (brand) image that needs to be upheld.
Firstly let's normalise dramas having 16 long episodes because the dramas that used to air before used to have…
I don't think ALL shows need to stretch for 16-20 episodes. Maybe if the show has enough characters and arcs to support that. Otherwise, we have a case where they shoehorn in unnecessary tropes like some shared past, temporary separation where people somehow forget that video calling exists, or some unnecessary conflict that spans just long enough to cover 1 or 2 episodes.
Examples of this: - Her Private Life - Because this is my first life - Twenty five-Twenty one
All great shows that got screwed over in the last few episodes. Even when i suggest these to others I tell them to skip the last two episodes.

I sympathise with every character in this show, even the "antagonists" (except the chancellor dudes they're just too comically evil).
The kidnapping plot (which is the name sake of this show) is the only weakness of this drama. The court politics and drama is also a bit convoluted to follow along. The actors are carrying this show with their performance alone. The queen and dowager queen are standout performers.
Choi Sang Rok sometimes toes the line of over the top and believable but he's also being played really well.
The Crown Prince and Choi Myung Yoon have good chemistry.
There are a lot of times when I feel like just quitting, but the actors performance just stops my mouse from clicking close-tab
I'm an Indian and I don't even get what the fuss is about 😂
It is never possible to NOT offend a subset of people. It is just the way it is. It just so happens that the loudest voices tend to be of the people who get offended. And it just so happens that the Indian population online is so large that there is a veritable flood of people complaining.
Personally, as an Indian, I don't see what there is to feel offended. In fact, I think Kim Ji Eun pulled that saree off real well (kudos to the costume guys). And tbh, it isn't often that India gets represented in Kdramas. So it was a pleasant surprise for me.
Knight Flower is pretty layered. The storylines start off separated, but little by little they are starting to merge together and its extremely thrilling. Not many TV shows with these many parallel storylines can achieve success, but the way Knight Flower is going, I feel like it will bring it all together to a crazy culmination.
Here's hoping that it does well and doesn't drop the ball in the last few episodes.
He was the star of Death's Game. Episode 2 was the best.
I find that with any KDrama, you have actors who you watch because they're goodlooking/famous, and actors who you watch because they're actually good.
Of the former, I don't have to give you a list since its kind of obvious (Cha Eun Woo I'm looking at you). As for the latter, those actors have a wide range. Lee Jae Wook is one of them, he's been dancing around the spectrum like he owns it. Kim Seon Ho is another. After Death's Game 2, I am placing Jang Seung Jo in that category as well. Gaaad dayum Death's Game 2 Truck Trailer scene was dope AF
I swear if the secret to blackouts is something stupid like split personalities then imma flip my sh*t. I have a strong suspicion that the killer is actually the shaman guy but he has a split personality. The general mcarthur possession feels like a chekov’s gun.
They should have put that commercial effort into Kopiko instead haha
Actor 2: What are you eating? Actor 1 brings out Kopiko: This, try it out! Actor 2 takes one and sucks on it: Woah! Tastes really good! Camera sticks on Kopiko packet for a good 10 seconds... Actor 2: So anyways, let us continue with this crime scene investigation! Actor 1: Yea! The serial killer sure does like to make the crime scene bloody. Its like a Jackson Pollock painting here!
I'm like 95% sure Jo Deuk Chan killed Eom Ji (Do Ha's first girlfriend) because she was stopping Do Ha from fully committing to his dreams in the music industry. He gives me serial killer vibes with the way he looked at Sol Hee when he said "Congratulations".
I can understand what some of the comments are saying about stereotyping and what not, but I gotta say the arab prince actor is really witty and his chemistry with Lee Jun Ho is off the charts. Even the dialogues in English feel like banter between bros with a love-hate relationship. Another foreign actor i gotta give shout outs to is Aziz from Gaus electronics.
Man Koreans overuse "controversy" so much that it has officially lost all meaning. I mean is this even something you have to apologise for? PewDiePie literally does this with his videos and the fans love it (they add small easter eggs in the translations and stuff too). And all those fringe languages that don't get any love get a chance to come into the spotlight thanks to fan-volunteer efforts.
This is why I always feel that these actors and actresses are fake all the time, especially in interviews and stuff. They just can't say what they want to say because the netizens will all go up in arms about something or the other.
The real OP main character of this drama is Jin Do Jun's elder brother. That man is a Prophet. He's out there predicting the future without having travelled back in time!
But God is fair. He has nerfed him by shifting his focus to entertainment industry instead of business and economics.
"Detective!"

Jk Jk. This actor is the same one from squid games
