The way I see it Hai Xia is more interesting and charismatic than Hai Lou so they messed up his character to make Hai Lou shine more as the ML.

They focused on the cases more than on the characters. It's a choice. Other dramas do focus more on the characters more. I guess there is everything for everyone. It takes nothing away from this drama. Personally I like this one as much as other Di Renjie dramas I've seen, I think it was very well made.

Well it only took 39 episodes for Liu Sui Feng to finally stop treating Song Ming Zhu like shit and having finally some consideration for her. Happy for you girl, you deserved it more than anyone else.

A bit of a forced Happy Ending, the 2 ML shouldn't have survived all this. But that's ok I understand they want to please the viewers. Drama is still more than great I'm my book.

I'm at ep 22 and haven't seen anything scary so far. This is not a scary/horror drama.

I would say ML in IA is very neutral and focused on his own personal goals. He just happen to do good there and then because it benefits him. I don't find him morally questionable. My opinion.

There is no romance and there is an actual script with things going on. 2 things that braindead teenagers ( the majority here) can't deal with.

I won't be surprised if he dies at the end. I'm okay with that as long as the writing is good. Well-written sad endings are always better than cheap happy endings.

This drama made me realize how low tolerance I have for idiots.
I wanted to enjoy this but it's hard for me to root for the good guys since they're so stupid it's not even funny anymore.
Anyway I'm halfway, hope it gets better.
