One of my favorite childhood scenes from the Chinese version is the scene where Ling Xiao sat at the stairs everyday waiting for Jian Jian to call him to eat with them. It showed how he got soften day by day towards Jian Jian. So sad they didn’t include it here, so it feels a bit rushed. Anyway, I hope it’s good moving forwards.
