Nothing is wrong with Allen and Dylan. I like them. But if you are only watching the dramas of them, you shouldn't say like we don't get women centric dramas often, right? Because they are mostly doing male centric type of dramas.

That account has been watching Ren Jialun and Dylan Wang's dramas. That's why she thinks so.

Reset is not romance drama for god's sake, it's not promoted as a couple either. People didn't even know that they will add a loveline between leads. People including me, watched Reset for suspense, time-loop intriguing storylines and great acting, not for romance. It's the difference.

I know, that's why I said twice already. I didn't watch that one either.

They shouldn’t normalize these types of pairings, especially when the characters don’t call for it. It’s uncomfortable to watch for me. These girls’ agencies and backers are working overtime. They should know their time will come eventually, so why rush these drama opportunities?

Tbh, this is the same feeling I got with Hou Minghao and Ai Mi pairing in Key to the Phoenix Heart. What’s up with C-drama casting directors who can’t pair actors in the same age group as a couple in dramas? There are a lot of actresses, even underrated ones, in the same age range as Ding Yuxi that they could go for. Instead, they choose an actress who’s a decade younger 🙄 not once, twice already. They could have gone with underrated names like Wan Peng, Zhang Yaqin, Dai Lu Wa or even famous ones like Landi Li, Zhou Ye.. etc.

FL and ML are lovely and look good together. But apart from them, almost every other character is annoying the hell out of me — SML, FL’s cousin, ML’s female colleague, FL’s grandma, the cousin’s mother... even ML’s two friends/colleagues are boring and not really funny. I hope they become more bearable in the further episodes.

One thing I didn't enjoy is that they spend too much time in the upside-down world (world of gwi).. those scenes were boring with same things happening. I like the suspense and secrets in the royal family drama though. It's not bad.
Just wish the king and his biological mother should've gotten their karma at the end since they both did many evil things.

I think it has a weak plot, a basic one, not a no-plot show. I’ve been saying the same thing since the first episode aired. Some people disagreed with me, and that’s fine, I understand that different people have different opinions.
In the end, people are still watching it, whatever the reason may be, whether it’s New’s beautiful face, their good chemistry or anything. Let people enjoy what they enjoy. There’s no need to exaggerate it 😌

I actually like flawed, imperfect, and even villainous characters as long as they're written well. The problem isn't that the characters are flawed; it's that the writing is inconsistent. It just makes the writers come across as inexperienced. They could really learn a thing or two from K-drama or C-drama writers... just saying.

Despite being disappointed with the writing, I'm still watching. It probably helps that I keep getting distracted by how beautiful New looks in every scene.

The characters have no depth, and the characterization is very poor. The cheating storyline has already finished, so what do the writers have left? Instead of developing the characters in a meaningful way, they keep introducing inconsistent and forced plotlines, like suddenly making Kanit seem selfish towards Toto without reason.

It really highlights the writers and gmmtv's bias, resulting in weak and inconsistent storytelling. Overall, the development feels shallow, and poorly executed. Let's see second half of the show.

The plot and character writing have been bad since Episode 1... are you guys only realizing that now? I commented after Episode 1 aired that the plot is weak, but some people disagreed with me. So don't suddenly act like it's Kanit blah blah. The writing has been weak from the very beginning.

New and his pretty face are honestly the best things in this weak-plot bl, and they still dare to attack him? They're just insecure. 😒

The plot and the characters are honestly weak, but I think that's acceptable for a lighthearted, unserious show like this.

The plot is weak at the first place. What do you expect? Blame the screenwriter for writing a character like that.
