I was super surprised at this show, couldn't stop laughing for 3 episodes. Cdrama crime usually doesn't do it for me, but I like this one! Be prepared for deadpan humor, it's executed really well here.

yeah, the soup usually is accompanied by noodles or it would be served alongside rice and other dishes. It's usually a bone broth, or a broth made with boiling dried fish, and I think they have those kinds with kelp too. I hope you get a chance to try it :D
but I realize I tend to loose interest in a cdrama once the leads get together or be in a relationship
Same here, but I would chalk it up to poor writing in c-dramas. Scriptwriters tend to throw all the tropes together in 1 episode after the leads get together, then suddenly the progress would be fast forwarded to meeting parents and parents asking them to get married. there's no build up of the relationship after they get together, it's as if getting together was the be all and end all... :(
