I'm sorry - I love them, but this is getting harder and harder to watch every week. The amount of stupid and nonsensical things that happen is so unbelievable that it feels like the writers were drunk while doing the script. And those butterflies are so cringe! T_T

The synopsys kinda gave me SailorMoon vibes... an ordinary girl transforming into "a royal female special agent"... what? XD

Well it stars Li Hong Yi (and Yan An) so it will be a must watch... just hope it gets aired soon. <3

And, finished bingewatching! Took me just a few days because I was really invested in it.

I really loved this one, from start to finish - mainly because it didn't take itself too seriously and did amazingly well the things I was expecting to find: action scenes, slowburn romance, scenic visuals.
There are some problems here and there, mostly the fact that nobody questions He Rufei identity and nobody realizes He Yan is a woman (although as the story proceeds we realize that many DID notice but caring for her they just kept it a secret).... BUT it's a drama and we can close our eyes for a moment and suspend our disbelief to just enjoy the ride, right? :)
Honestly, I felt the "holes" in this were less problematic than in PoJ (which I loved tons anyway!).

Anyway! The acting of all the cast was great both in emotional and especially in fight scenes, which were breathtaking. I was on the verge of my seat following each and every move during the fights, which were epic but also felt real and not too "over-dramatized". Loved all the characters, who all added to the story, but I think my MVP were Feinu and Xiao Jue - their attendant/commander interactions were always so true and heartfelt! Also, Chu Zao was another great character throughout the whole story: kudos to the actor because he managed to show his inner turmoil pretty well.

Last but not least: loved some of the OST tracks, and I will say something that is present in many comments but will never be underlined enough: the moon confession, in all of its shades, is one of the best and most simple yet touching confessions I've ever seen in a drama. <3

9.5/10 for me!

Oh, boy. First episode was meh bt ep2&3 were even worse, it feels like a mix of everything put together to just fill the lenght of an episode. TutorYim are great as always, these boys act so natural when they're together, it's a pleasure to watch them - the cinematography and colors are also pretty nice, it even feels like a quality production judging by the visuals of the scenes... BUT then the flow of what happens makes zero sense, plus the dialogues are cringey and weird!

I don't mind the weird comedy, nor the sound effects, but even weird and over-the-top moments need their right place and time otherwise everything feels so disconnected!

Like, it feels we're watching episodes that have been cut of at least 1/3 of their content! T_T
I'm loving these boys so I'll keep watching (plus their dynamics is indeed interesting, I like how the characters complement each other) BUT it's definitely a pretty bad project... again, sadly.

I'm still not finished, but honestly I'm loving it so far - the action scenes are great and make up for those small plot issues... sometimes with these sort of stories you have to adapt some degree of suspension of disbelief in order to fully enjoy the narrative. Plus it's my first time watching the main actor and I'm liking his stern/gentlemanly attitude in this role, I think I'll go watch some of his other projects too. :)

I think you dont know, but here in LOTFG, he wasn't Li Qing ... Let me explain, there was another actor who played…
who was the original actor supposed to be?

yes he does, he finds out in ep 22 officially... but it shows pretty clearly that he had his doubts already.

i think the main problem is that it's pretty obvious He Yan is a girl (I love this actress but maybe they should have chosen someone a bit less "feminine" or worked a bit more on her makeup when she's impersonating a male) so the fact that nobody realizes she's a girl and He Rufei was a girl AND they are the same person kinda feels less credible. Also because He Yan and He Rufei has quite a different physique so... yeah, how can people close to her/him not notice?

But then again, if they realized everything soon, the drama would have lasted 3 eps and not 36... just like PoJ. XD

i just started this series Is the ML completely oblivious to FL's tactics which makes him look dumb ? or will…
He's very composed, stern and somewhat shy - he's acting clueless to some things but he actually knows more than what he shows, and is very respectful of He Yan's choices.

I'm bingewatching and am on ep26 right now, and I love how his character is firm and self-contained on the surface but has a warm, gentle and generous heart (not only with He Yan but with his aides like Feinu too)

(as for the fact that nobody does 1+1 and realizes that He Yan is actually He Rufei... well, that's just like nobody understands that Usagi is Sailor Moon despite her being the only human being with that unique haircut! XD)

This has fast become one of my weekly favourites. Fluke is so charming and as always the chemistry with his partner is great, plus the place is so beautiful that it makes me want to travel to Thailand even more! Second GL couple also has good vibes... the rating at 7.5 is a crime.

Ok, I'm really starting to wonder how they will fill 12 episodes with how the script is going... ep6 was quite a "meh" for me, although I loved some scenes and some characters (Rose is my MVP up to now!) - I hope they can turn this "jealousy" trope into a growth element instead of a random reason to show them having sex.
I also usually love Up as an actor, I've seen all of his roles in the last 6/7 years, but he's not really delivering here... he seems kinda flat and uninspired.

(that said, my heart melt on that close-up in front of the tent, his doe-eyes always hit the right spots!)

What! Really? So he was cast afterwards and instead of reshooting some scenes they just used CGI?

I'm a bit late to the party, I just started this yesterday... it was on my watchlist since it aired but never really got the chance to delve into it. First 4 eps flew in the blink of an eye, and I'm liking it so far... I just stopped for a moment to say: although in a similar role, how much did Li Qing change in one year, he looks so frail and young here in respect to PoJ!

I agree, Nani's performance was amazing! The drummer girl is Singha, she's a young actress under GMMTV and a drummer.…
Thanks! I'll look forward to her projects! <3

Holy moly all the new characters! Phuwin & Great were a nice surprise and I'm in love with the drum girl, who is she? <3

The ritual scene felt so real I had goosebumps! Kudos to Nani, I was really expecting a demon to come out of his body... this guy is like Dr.Jekyll and Mr.Hyde, he bounces between amazingly cute to overly dangerous in the blink of an eye!

Every episode is better then the one before, let's keep it up!

Ok, episode one was enough to crush all my hopes for this drama, unfortunately. T_T
It might be a subtitle issue but the dialogues are terrible AND the flow of the events feels so weird... I understand the "love/attraction at first sight" but the hotel scenes were so cringe! T_T

TutorYim are lovely and giving it their all as always, but they can't do miracles. I will still watch since it's only 10 eps to show my support but... sigh.

Their 2-minutes cameo in LUaT was a better role than any series they had up to now!

One of the best dramas I've seen in years - it wasn't epic, nor overwhelming, nor majestic... but it was deep and balanced like an immersion in something that feels real, with raw and vivid characters amazingly acted (Santa was great in this role but Perth was even more intense: his Pobmek managed to be so fragile yet strong at the same time).

It kinda felt like a fresh of breath air although the topic was indeed difficult - once again, this director manages to create something "that flows" and that blends very well comedy with depth and real+absurd moments. Kudos to the all the actors, and to the coloring and costumes department because they managed to make this drama so distinct and unique!

Yes, I'm also on team #parentsredemptionarccouldhavebeenbetter, but I feel like giving this drama any less than 10 is a crime against the great idea and effort that all the team put on such a difficult script and topic. So, 10/10 for me, this is a small gem!

Aaaand it's a wrap. Honestly I had some expectations for this series, but it failed to get me invested... mostly because the characters felt sketchy and not fully developed AND because the direction felt a bit chaotic. I also had some issues with many camera shots that felt very weird (I don't know how to explain this since i'm not a native english speaker, but often I felt like the frame was cut in an anti-aesthetic way or the camera was filming from a weird prospective that felt "bad" instead of "artistic").

Anyway!
I LOVED AouBoom but I had no doubt I would enjoy their performance (I especially like Aou's acting, he seems like a completely different person at any different role he get casted for!), and it was my first time watching JossGawin which I appreciated but their characters were kinda "meh". I honestly preferred them as friends.

EarthMix as always shine in dramatic roles and Mix for me rocked the entire show: this boy has an amazing range and he can deliver the world even with the smallest blink of an eye. Love him.

Will we get a S3? For sure we will, since this seems to be a format that people like... but I hope we can get more substance in terms of character development: a series like this needs a good script otherwise it's just a bunch of NC scenes.
