I love this BL so much! I enjoy watching series where one of the main characters is deaf. I've already watched…
Thank you for sharing your story! <3

If you've never watched it, the most "classic" drama with a deaf female lead is Orange Days. It's and old drama (2004, Japan) but it's an evergreen... and, all the cast is amazing.

It’s just the first episode so I’m gonna give it a chance to prove itself but idk, I’m not too sure about…
Yeah, the events feel disconnected, as in: "why are they are? why are they doing this? what happened?"...
If they want to dare with a new concept, they should try to hire a nice writing team that knows how to put things together.

Uhm - the premise sounds new and interesting, and the classical costumes looked great... but the acting is pretty cringe and the events are told in a very disconnected and confused way.
The plot sounds cool tho', so I'll stick to it for a few episodes and see if the direction straightens a bit.

No excuse whatsoever, but - remember that in those times, r@pe was normal, as were child marriages, multiple marriages, concubines, m/m s€x servants and so on.

That said - I don't like and empathise with any of the two main characters - actually I find the 2+2 bodyguards more amusing. AND the overacting is a bit cringe. But such a brave production deserves recognition - and the story itself is intriguing. So I'm sticking to it.

I will never get tired of saying how Off is slaying this role.
P'Jane is one of my favourite chars ever.

I'm still waiting for the whole cast starting a flashy tango performance every time I hear that music. The music…
I honestly like the music a lot - sometimes it builds contrast with what is happening to create fun or a kind-of-absurd that makes me laugh, sometimes it's an inner quote to some style/mood, sometimes it "breaks" the tension with an unexpected kind of sound/music/vibe.

Omg Miracle of Teddy Bear mentioned!! All I have heard surrounding it are people saying it is too weird to enjoy,…
MoTB is one of the best lakorns of last years! It's just not everyone's cup of tea, being that is not the classic trite lovestory.

ok, I liked the peacock shirt... I would never ever wear something like that, but Daou managed to make it sexy!…
………I was trying to find some kind of excuse, but nope, I have none… I’m biased you’re right. XD
But he’s objectively too beautiful! XD

please someone tell me if this is good or what
It's not good: it's better! As of now, it's probably one of the most enthralling BLs airing and in general is a very, very good drama!

Uhm... this was probably my lest-favourite episode up to now.
I found Mudmee to be completely out of character in her blind follow of a stupid advice, Atom comes off as fastidious (whereas Aoki was always relatable even in his goofiest moments) and Thap's somehow bidimensional (even tho' he's the one who's showing more "effort" in learning/developing/growing).

Sidenote: Aungpao deserves more screentime. He's so charismatic!

Question: does anyone known if Daou is doing his own action scenes? It doesn't look like he's using a double in fights.

How cute are these two? They are both sweet, and intense... sharing small little signs and living big moments - the dinner date was such a great scene!

Sidenote #1: Ms Wad we were waiting for you. BUT we know you're a fake!
Sidenote #2: Daou makes every damn outfit work. He looks astonishing in whatever kind of clothes they make him wear.

Am I the only one who… likes… the peacock outfit? 🫣
For me, Daou wins the prize for "the man who makes every improbable outfit work".
He manages to look amazingly beautiful and hot and dazzling and sexy and elegant and PUTAPOSITIVEADJECTIVEHERE with whatever thing he's wearing.

Please don't tell me Vee's grandmother is somehow a reincarnation of Ms. Wat!! 😞😞
I think she must be some person San met as she was a kid... she mention something in a former episode that hinted to this, too.

Just started as I'm waiting for the next episodes of Century of Love... well, it's 4 in the morning and I can't…
...and, finished! I honestly found it very entertaining: the two MLs were great together (and Daou is such a fine man!!), they had a very nice development enemies/lovers that felt smooth and natural and gave me butterfly... and nice character growth, especially from Phoomjay. Also, nice communication between them aside for few things that were understandable.
It's an 8.5 for me, way better than many average BLs around there!
