I think your text was confusing: "There were hints her being his father’s daughter earlier too." ~ because you used 'his' instead of 'her' before 'father's daughter' lol.

But I do recall that scene now you mention it, although, I don't think it was intended to imply she knew her father was killing people, but she certainly knew he abused his power. We see in the end though that she KNEW. lol Girl was vicious.

On The Love Never Sets Oct 24, 2025
Putting tape across one part of a room (and a TV????) as a means of separation from a roommate in a non-camp humor BL is just too unserious and very nonsensical. Aiya. Overall, the first ep is setting this up to be a fairly average to mid offering out of Thailand, nothing special, a recycled dynamic of the main pair with a slightly different base 'plot'. But it could be entertaining, I'll keep watching for now.

Title Love in the Moonlight Spoiler
They set up Duangkamol really well, hiding her in plain sight. Every time they showed her, they added in another…
If people didn't figure out the writer/s obviously intended for DK to (conveniently) kill Bodin by the time they showed him (conveniently) noticing SK and Pin running away from the house (with no discretion whatsoever) to go to the train station where they'd (conveniently) shown DK hanging around previously, then I reckon it's less about the writing being good (because it was quite weak in terms of the never ending 'getting caught out' plot) and more about each viewers understanding of the scenes.

Well, I can't give it anything higher than an 8, which I'll be doing purely because it was very entertaining, the acting was good, and it was not slow at all. But the writing of so many convenient coincidences and 'catches' and everything every single person did being known just in time and every bad person getting what they 'deserve' or being redeemed like their bs actions never happened is just too much, to the point of being laughable. I did laugh actually. Took it right out of any credible lane for me. It reached a point of 'oh please' many times when another 'secret' was discovered on the double, like no one had any discretion and someone was always in just the right place at the right time LOL

It fed my enjoyment of angst though, those last few eps were good kush, I definitely spent more time grinning than rolling my eyes. So 8 out of 10 it is.

That gate scene was so fucking brutal bro. I am crying my fucking eyes out. Sasin literally had no plan whatsoever…
Nah for real, good summary of the character drama issues here. On two of the issues you mentioned:

Yep, Pin is really just being a twat. Her initial anger at them for lying to her was justified but literally everything she's done since has been nasty 🤡 work. By ep 11 she reached a point of being irredeemable/totally unlikeable and if anyone still feels sorry for her I'd be very surprised.

As for the scene with Pin telling Saenkaew to have sex with her, I cringed big time, it's not heterophobia, since I have no issue with het romance, and I would cringe (and have cringed before) even if it's two males or two females in a show in a 'forced' scenario, anytime I see a scene where the sex is being forced in some way, I think a negative feeling is the only reaction to have. It also high key cringed hearing her ask why he can't love her, because it's like mentally unwellness in her that she does not get that he's gay. There's some kind of disconnect from reality in her character that's actually quite interesting psychologically, especially since there are women (and men) in real life who cannot reconcile being rejected by a gay person.

Jet needs to control his emotions and stop crashing out. he’s getting on my nerves 😂
His crashouts are so unsatisfying too, when he throws shit it never lands anywhere or makes a sound, feels anticlimactic 😂😂

Try to watch Love in the moonlight too . My number 1 most favourite series in this year .
Ah yes, LitM is entertaining, but I'm gonna make an additional suggestion here, since you started it 😆 for viewers to try to watch Shine. That's my favourite series of 2025 and the best out of Thailand to date (imo).

very good for a drama genre, but to heavy for a bl series... it give me great anxiety
I don't see this as a BL, it's an LGBTQ series imo and I think it's important for viewers to keep that in mind going in.

Can someone explain to me how, at the beginning, some people say it’s not their first time entering those doors,…
Because the show is based on video game dynamics. For non-game players, it may not be familiar, but because of the game theme of the show, the doors are based on something similar to RPG 'outcome' game theory.
This is a basic explanation from wiki:
[In game theory, the outcome of a game is the ultimate result of a strategic interaction with one or more people, dependent on the choices made by all participants in a certain exchange. It represents the final payoff resulting from a set of actions that individuals can take within the context of the game. Outcomes are pivotal in determining the payoffs and expected utility for parties involved.

Each player’s strategy is based on their expectation of what the other players are likely to do, often explained in terms of probability. Outcomes are dependent on the combination of strategies chosen by involved players and can be represented in a number of ways; one common way is a payoff matrix showing the individual payoffs for each players with a combination of strategies.]

So basically, the actions of every person playing can change the events and outcomes of the doors/levels. Every time Lanzhu goes into a door, things may be different or more difficult because of the game's 4 levels of difficulty and also what other players do or don't do.

There's more to it, which also makes the doors (as a video game make sense), but for non game-players, it might be confusing.

And the sound effect is also bad ...i laughed when risa's bodyguard kept on firing 😅.
Yeah I know lol, the audio was bad from ep 1 though, every time the angry brother Chet throws something there's no sound of it landing anywhere 🤣

It's a little thick on the fanfiction vibes in some places and I'm not a fan of the guns that never run out of bullets or the poor CGI (actually weak AI?) graphics, I mean for the guns at least couldn't they just afford blanks???? 🤣 Aiya, but anwyay, aside from that, this episode on the whole was entertaining. And I'm here to be entertained so it's all good!

It's a pity watching this on VPN seems to be difficult for viewers, they should really make it more available/accessible, it's very camp comedy, but still quite funny. Chai and Tidgif are lowkey slutty and I'm here for it, and Kreetha is so deadpan most of the time, guy just wants to be alive and debt free otherwise he's just cruising by like whatever goes he'll vibe with it, they're actually all so ridiculous 😂

Oh nah, it's actually working really smoothly for me, full HD quality too, I'm already on ep 4 and I'm watching between working, no glitches or buffering. I wonder why yours isn't running smoothly, maybe not a good internet connection?

Just want to let you know it worked! You're a ★ for the advice on how to get it working. Sucks I can't watch it on my pc or TV without using screencast (which is an additional pain on top of using 3 apps just to watch it on my phone) but I can get by on one series on my phone, it won't kill me lol Thanks again :D

Ep 9: lol Pin went from being totally valid in her anger to being the worst, miserable kind of c*nt a person can be in that situation. They both were entirely wrong for how they handled the situation with regards to her from the start, 100% she was right to be pissed and to be in pain. But then to turn around and say she won't call off the wedding and is peak stupidity LOL she does not win in that situation at all. Talk about sabotaging her own life. Does she think forcing a gay man to marry her is smart work? Pfftttt, that's so dumb, She'd be more self serving to call off the wedding and cut them both out of her life, OR if she wanted to be a self serving vengeful type, she could have used blackmail to make sure to secure money for her gold digging family with Saenkaew's secret, since money was the reason for the marriage arrangement anyway, then she can still go on and marry someone else who actually wants her in the future. In this way, she's screwing herself over rather spectacularly.

Somehow I feel like Saenkaew is reaching his limit with people telling him what to do though, this shit is gonna go off at some point soon, probs in ep 10, which I still have to watch and see if Pin changes her mind or SK bursts out of the closet or summat else.

Good ep, very entertaining

Ah that's fine, I can try it, I've managed to figure out humor in Chinese shows sometimes ffs, you know how convoluted that stuff gets? Yes, I know you do! I take it all as a cultural learning experience really. Google is my friend for this stuff and even if I can't figure it out it's fine, it's still fun over all if the show is well acted. I'm gonna give it a shot and hope I can get it working.
