You definitely caught on to what the scriptwriter was doing. I just read the interview with the interview. Amongst other things, she says that at its core, WoH is reminiscent of The Smiling, Proud Wanderer (one of my favorite classics). She also mentions Jin Yong, of course.

Someone on Twitter translated the interview with the scriptwriter. Everything she says is so damn beautiful, including the ending for our CP (she insisted on the HE!) as well being gentle with GX & CWN & leaving 2 Easter eggs for them. Reading it makes me appreciate this WoH even more, if that is even possible.

How much does it cost? Is it easy to do? I live in the U.S. & want to watch the raws legally.

I’m hoping Youku will change its mind & keep it at 4 per week.

Currently, I have 2 jobs in drama land: 1)watch the episodes w/Eng. subs 2)read everything with the #WordOfHonor hashtag on Twitter and Instagram.

In drama land there are 2 words that scare me almost as much as a sad ending: MGTV and Youku. Both have little or no Eng. subs for their dramas or their subs are slow.

I’m like you! I have dropped dramas when i found out it has a sad ending. I only try to watch dramas with an HE and i know mainland China BL dramas don’t always but I wanted to take a chance with this drama. I am cautiously optimistic that this will like it’s book counterpart.

It’s 4 next week then it’s 3 for the rest. :/

I am not a fujoshi. I watch dramas for the romance, whether it be between a couple of the opposite sex or the same sex. This a fantastic wuxia story of 2 men with different trajectories in life who happen to meet and fall in love.
